I have a friend who was struggling in some things and asked the Lord to make her day good. The Lord said to her, I make everyday good, it's up to you to receive it.
God does not save us and leave us on our own, in fact His Word says He directs our path, Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. And as for joy...the kingdom of God is righteousness, and that righteousness is our...we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus...we are 'RIGHT' with God, NOW, in Christ. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Ghost. So then joy is in you. The joy of the Lord is my strength. And the peace, we have peace with God, because Jesus took all that was against us, and He said, it is finished. So we are holy, blameless and unreprovable in His sight, it's not us who did the work, Jesus did the work. and we believe and receive with joy the engrafted word which is able to save our soul.
Whose report are we going to believe. Isaiah 53:1 says Who has believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed. Amos 3:3 says, Can two walk together except they be agreed?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, then if we receive the negative statements that people say about us, then we are not abiding in HIS words, we are abiding in THEIR words. Jesus said, if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. What is His will? Thy will be done on earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
Father, let your words of life touch and break like hammers those things we have come to believe that are not of you (we all have done this and even still live in religiosity in areas of our life) and direct our steps on paths of righteousness. Thank you for the name of Jesus, for the authority you have given us over our circumstances, we speak to the mountain and command it to move. in Jesus name. Amen.
