Today has been HARD Lord!

Lord you know how hard today has been. Chris woke up in an awful mood and has taken it out on me all day. Lord this is so stressful. He has even made comments like, "This is why I left in the first place!" And that was just after my stating my disappointment in his not going to church with me because he wanted to sleep! He had said he wanted to go at a certain time, so I got up based on that request, then he decides to not get up at all. So when he asked me what was wrong, I said I was disappointed. I was honest Lord. But as you know, this set him off for the rest of the day. Lord I do not understand his state of mind. And you know that at this moment, he isn't even speaking to me and we are in the same house. Lord help me to know what to say and when to say it. Help me to be quiet as well. But if I speak, help me to speak in a way that glorifies you and that lifts Chris up. Keep me from tearing him down even when he is not treating me the same. Lord it is so hard to not just go off on him right now. But I am refraining because I know that is not what you would want me to do.

Lord help us move forward, not backward. Lord work on him. Help him to see that this is going to be work and not easy street.

Lord I thank you that he is here and not elsewhere. Lord help us to love each other again in a way that is beyond anything we have ever known.

God bless this dear child, she is trying so hard. Father bind the enemy from this marriage and open Chris's heart and allow him to take the spiritual lead of his household. Father minister to his spirit and show him his role as a husband, father and man of God. God give our sister strength and peace and wisdom to contuinue in her gentle prompting of her husband until you finish the work necessary to make this a perfect union. Father bless this couple. Dear Heavenly Father, help this family be reunited in your name. Help her to have patience and guidance from you. I know it is so hard to hold our anger Lord, through your guidance, we have to do just that.Help her to be an example for Chris, and just to be still just now. Let Chris see through her example, just how much she is relying on you and your promise, for you have got them to this point. It's a long road Lord, but through the Grace of Your Goodness, you will pull him back to you and to his family. Help her to be slow to anger and have patience and strength. She wants everything to be fine and Lord, I know, through your Mercy, it will be. This didn't happen over night and it won't change back over night. Let her speak to him in a way that you would speak to him. Let Chris know she loves him with everything and just wants to serve YOU, with her husband. It is so very hard for us to turn the other cheek, but Jesus did. Lead him to be more compassion to her needs, rather than his own needs. Remove the stress from her and replace in her inner peace, that your will is being done. In Jesus Name Amen

Lord, last night was hard in that Chris didn't talk much. But he did come to bed, which was a surprise. Lord continue to work on his heart and continue to work on mine. Help me to forgive him as it is harder now that he is home. Sometimes I feel like I would rather be alone than deal with his bad attitude. I am praying that you take that attitude and transform it to one that is Christ-like, to one that is positive. Lord I pray that you are with him each minute, whispering in his ear. Lord remove his depression and show him the way to recovery. I know that this is where his attitude is coming from since he is good one day and angry the next.

Lord help me to be patient!! And help me to stay willing to wait for you to do your good work in Chris! Help him to see your fingerprints everywhere...help him to see you each day...help him to have forgiveness in his heart and to receive the love you have for him.

Father God I stand in agreement with Lisa and others today for Chris, speak to his heart Lord, bring him conviction and delieverence as Lisa continues to bring him into prayer to You, make a move in this marriage Father, hold Lisa up, fill her with strength and courage to continue to endure this battle and the weariness it brings as she stands in Jesus name amen.
