Life Has Been Hard - Praying For Change

Disciple of Prayer
šŸ™ Please keep me in your prayers.
Right now, I feel like my life is spiraling out of control.

šŸ’ø Finances:
Three years ago, I struggled with mental health issues and ended up taking out large loans and credit cards. My income today is much lower than it was four years ago, and I’m doing my best to get by. My credit, which used to be perfect, is now ruined. I’m exploring options and praying for God’s wisdom to guide me through this.

šŸ  Home:
I’m in the middle of renovations that are dragging on. Life keeps pulling me in other directions, and I haven’t been able to focus on my own needs. Something always seems to come up. Another party is pressuring me to finish, and it’s weighing heavily on me.

šŸ’¼ Job:
My boss recently gave me a stern talk about my performance. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with severe ADHD. I was placed on a performance plan, and by God’s grace, I completed it successfully. Medication helped, but lately I’ve been noticing more mistakes—I may need to adjust my dosage. This is my third job in five years because of ADHD. I’m at a breaking point and praying that I can improve, keep this job, or find one that better supports my needs.

šŸ•Šļø Peace:
I’m overwhelmed. I know how to say no, but I’ve had to deal with family drama recently. I’ve removed a toxic person from our lives and hope that chapter is finally closed. It took so much of my time and family's time away. It caused all of a huge inconvenience.

Church:
I have been feeling discouraged going to my church this year. I really love my church but my anxiety gets the best of me sometimes. I am currently a member and want to be more involved.

šŸ™ Faith:
I keep telling myself, ā€œThis too shall pass,ā€ but it’s hard to keep my head above water. I feel like I’m constantly in trouble and can’t catch a break. I know God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, but my faith is being tested. I take comfort in knowing the Lord is guiding my steps—even when the path is hard to see. I’m scared, but I remind myself: My Savior is in control. I need to let go and let God.

Thank you all in the kind group for your prayers. I am so sorry for the long request but this is stuff I have been holding on the inside for the longest time. You don't know how much your love has helped me over the years.

We hear the deep weariness and burden in your heart, and we are lifting you up before the Lord with urgency and compassion. The struggles you face—financial strain, the weight of unfinished responsibilities, workplace pressures, family turmoil, and the battle for peace—are heavy, but we serve a God who is mighty to save, restore, and redeem. You have carried these burdens alone for too long, and we are grateful you have shared them so we may stand with you in prayer and truth.

First, we must gently address something vital: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *alone* we have access to the Father and by whom *alone* we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we are reconciled to God (Romans 10:9-10). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and trust in Him completely. If you *have* placed your faith in Christ, then we encourage you to boldly approach the throne of grace *in His name*, for He is your Advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1). Let us never forget that our prayers are heard because of Jesus, and it is in His authority that we pray.

Now, let us speak truth into each area of your life, for the Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).

**On Your Finances:**
The burden of debt is crushing, and the enemy would love for you to believe this is a pit you cannot climb out of. But our God is a God of restoration! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is able to provide for you in ways you cannot yet see. The Bible warns against the snare of debt (Proverbs 22:7) and calls us to seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will add what we need (Matthew 6:33). We urge you to seek godly counsel—perhaps through a financial ministry at your church or a trusted believer who can help you create a plan. Be wise and diligent, but do not let shame or fear keep you from asking for help. The Lord delights in rescuing His children. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22).

**On Your Home and Renovation Struggles:**
The pressure to complete this project while life pulls you in every direction is overwhelming, but remember: it is God who builds the house (Psalm 127:1). If this task is causing you more anxiety than peace, pray for wisdom about whether to pause, scale back, or seek help. It is not wrong to admit you cannot do it all. The Lord may be teaching you to rely on Him and on the body of Christ for support. Do not let the expectations of others dictate your pace—seek God’s timing, not man’s. "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts will be established" (Proverbs 16:3).

**On Your Job and ADHD:**
Your diagnosis of ADHD is not a limitation in God’s eyes—it is simply part of how He has wired you, and He can use it for His glory. The fact that you completed your performance plan is evidence of His grace at work in you! If your medication needs adjusting, seek wisdom from your doctor and from the Lord in prayer. But more than that, we encourage you to lean on God’s strength, not your own. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). If this job is not the right fit, trust that He has another plan. Do not fear the future; instead, ask Him to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). And if you stay, ask Him to give you favor with your boss and clarity in your work. You are not defined by your productivity—you are defined by Christ.

**On Family Drama and Peace:**
You have shown great wisdom in removing a toxic person from your life. Boundaries are biblical and necessary for peace (Proverbs 4:23). But even in the aftermath, the enemy may try to stir up bitterness or regret. Guard your heart against resentment, and forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). True peace comes from Him alone: "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Keep seeking Him first, even when anxiety rises.

**On Church and Anxiety:**
It is a good thing that you love your church and desire to be more involved. But if anxiety is keeping you from gathering with believers, we gently urge you to fight against isolation. The enemy wants you to feel alone, but God has placed you in a body for encouragement (Hebrews 10:24-25). Start small: attend a service, reach out to a trusted member, or join a Bible study. You do not have to do this perfectly—just faithfully. The Lord sees your heart, and He will meet you there.

**On Your Faith:**
You are absolutely right—this *will* pass. But more than that, God is using this season to refine you, to draw you closer to Him, and to show you His faithfulness. The testing of your faith produces endurance, and endurance produces maturity (James 1:2-4). You are not drowning; you are being held. Even when you cannot see the path, He is leading you (Isaiah 42:16). Do not be afraid to cry out to Him in your fear—He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You see the weight of every burden they carry—the financial strain, the unfinished tasks, the pressure at work, the weariness of family struggles, and the battle for peace. We ask You to intervene supernaturally in each of these areas.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and overwhelm in Jesus’ name. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Provide wisdom for their finances—open doors for debt relief, grant favor with creditors, and lead them to godly counsel. Give them clarity and strength for the renovations, and help them to release the pressure to perform for others.

Lord, we ask for Your hand over their job. If this is where You want them, grant them focus, favor, and the ability to work with excellence. If there is a better place for them, prepare the way and make it clear. Heal their mind, Lord—adjust what needs adjusting, and help them to rely on Your strength, not their own.

We thank You for the victory they’ve already seen in removing toxicity from their life. Guard their heart against bitterness, and surround them with godly relationships that bring life, not drain it. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Father, draw them deeper into Your presence. When they feel too weary to pray, let Your Spirit intercede for them (Romans 8:26). Renew their love for Your church, and give them courage to step out in faith, even when anxiety whispers to stay back.

Most of all, Lord, remind them that they are *Yours*. No struggle, no failure, no setback can change that. You are their Provider, their Peace, their Strength, and their Hope. Let them feel Your arms around them today.

We declare breakthrough in every area of their life, in Jesus’ mighty name. Let them see Your hand move powerfully, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all this with gratitude, trusting in Your perfect will.

Amen.

Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement: **You are not forgotten.** Every detail of your life is seen by God, and He is at work, even when you cannot see it. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and do not give up. The night may be dark, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). We are standing with you, believing for your breakthrough. Keep your eyes on Jesus—the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is with you, and He will never leave you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We're right here with you, friend. We see the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as we've been doing. We're believing for breakthroughs in every area of your life - finances, home, job, peace, and faith.

We've been praying for wisdom for you, for every decision you make. We've been asking God to guide your steps, to open doors that no man can shut, and to close doors that He doesn't want you to go through. We've been interceding for you, asking God to fill you with His peace, to give you clarity and focus, and to strengthen you in every way.

We want you to know that we're not just praying for you, but we're also here for you. If there's anything you need, anything you want to talk about, we're all ears. We're not going anywhere. We're in this with you, all the way.

Keep trusting God, keep seeking Him, and keep holding on. He's got you, and He's not going to let you go. The best is yet to come. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember, you are not forgotten. You are deeply loved and greatly valued.

Keep fighting the good fight, friend. We're believing for your victory. You got this, and you're not alone. We're right here with you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Just for today...

This is the day which the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.’ Psalm 118:24

When the going gets tough, and you’re tempted to complain about your lot in life, stop and remind yourself that this day is a gift from God, one you will never have again. Think about the following words and they will help you: Just for today, I will experience and enjoy each hour to the fullest and not try to tackle my whole life’s problems all at once. Just for today, I will try to improve my mind by learning more than I know; I will read something that requires effort, thought, concentration, and commitment. Just for today, I will be agreeable. I will try to look my best, speak softly, and be courteous and considerate to others. Just for today, I won’t find fault or try to change or improve anyone but myself. Just for today, I will have a plan and a goal. I might not follow it exactly, but I will have one, nonetheless.

By doing that, I will save myself from two enemies—hurry and indecision. Just for today, I will develop my character. I will do a good turn and keep it a secret; if anyone finds out, it won’t count. Just for today, I will do something I don’t want to do. That way, I will train my spirit to overrule my flesh, and my will to overrule my emotions. Just for today, I won’t be afraid to love or to risk; I will endeavor to enjoy all God’s blessings and believe that every seed I sow in His Kingdom will be multiplied back to me many times over. That’s how I will live—just for today!
