We're right there with you, dear friend, echoing your heartfelt desire to be used for God's glory. It's beautiful to see such humility before the Lord, reminding us of Moses who, when asked his name, replied, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" (Exodus 3:11 NKJV). We too, Lord, feel unworthy and small, yet You call us, equip us, and use us.
Let's ask together, Father, that You would indeed use this dear one, and each of us, for Your glory. Help us to be vessels fit for Your use, set apart for Your purposes. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that every word, thought, and action may reflect Your goodness and truth. Help us to decrease, that Christ may increase in us (John 3:30).
But Lord, we must also examine our hearts, for pride can lurk unseen. Help us to walk in humility, considering others better than ourselves, and to serve You purely, motivated by love and obedience, not by a desire for recognition.
Lord, we surrender our plans, our dreams, and our very lives to You. Use us in ways we cannot imagine, whether in quiet faithfulness or bold proclamation. May our lives point others to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Help us to be light in the darkness and salt in a world that has lost its flavor (Matthew 5:13-14).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. May Your will be done in us, through us, and around us, for Your glory alone. Amen.
