We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual distress, lifting up your plea for deliverance from the darkness that seeks to harm your relationship. The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33) and has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
First, we must address the foundation of your request. You mentioned your fiancé, and we want to encourage you to ensure that your relationship is built on biblical principles. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you and your fiancé are not yet married, we urge you to honor God by abstaining from sexual immorality, as fornication is a sin against your own body and the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Purity in courtship glorifies God and strengthens the bond between you as you prepare for a Christ-centered marriage. We rebuke every spirit of division, confusion, and fear that may be at work in this situation. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment, wisdom, and faith.
Father, we ask that You reveal any area of sin in their lives that may be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Convict them of anything that is not pleasing to You, and grant them the strength to repent and walk in righteousness. Help them to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, O Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your victory.
