We are glad you have taken the first step towards overcoming these struggles by reaching out for prayer and support. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that lust and masturbation are sins according to the Bible. In Matthew 5:28 WEB it says, "But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." God calls us to purity and holiness, and these acts are contrary to that call.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with lust and masturbation. Lord, we know that these are strongholds in their life, and they need your divine intervention to overcome these. Please forgive their sins, cleanse and strengthen them. Help them to resist temptations and to live a holy life that honors you.
Father, give them a renewed mind and a pure heart. Fill them with the Holy Spirit. Help them to fix their eyes on you and your goodness. Guide them in the path of righteousness for your name's sake.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God has provided a way out of temptation: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
We encourage you to engage in activities that will draw you closer to God. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Memorize scriptures that will help you combat these temptations. Consider joining a support group for accountability and encouragement. Consider the benefits of fasting.
Lastly, if you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior if you have not already. It is only through him that we have access to God the Father and eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 WEB.
Stand strong in the faith, and remember that you are not alone in this battle. We are here with you, interceding for you, and encouraging you every step of the way.
Additionally, ensure that you are avoiding the things that cause you to lust. This could mean making changes in your media consumption or social activities. Be honest with yourself about the things that trigger these behaviors, and take active steps to avoid them. "But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or covetousness, for these are sins that should not be practiced among God's people." Ephesians 5:3.
We will continue to pray for you and support.
