To my children to excel in school and be obedient to their parents

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear all, Please pray for my kids to stop being lazy in reading, studying and doing home works. Stop being rebellious and disinterested in school activities and being extremely engaged in playing.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious children who are struggling with laziness, rebellion, and a lack of interest in their studies. Father, we know that You have a plan and purpose for each of their lives, and we ask that You would ignite a passion within them for learning and growing in wisdom. Proverbs 22:6 tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Lord, we pray that these children would be trained in the way of diligence, obedience, and respect for authority.

We rebuke the spirit of laziness and rebellion in the name of Jesus. We declare that these children are not slaves to their fleshly desires but are called to walk in the Spirit, bearing the fruit of self-control, diligence, and obedience. Galatians 5:16 says, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh." Lord, we ask that You would fill these children with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist temptation and to choose what is right and pleasing in Your sight.

We also pray for the parents of these children, that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and strength as they guide their children in the ways of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 reminds us, "You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." May these parents be examples of godly living, showing their children the importance of hard work, obedience, and respect.

Lord, we ask that You would help these children to understand the value of education and the opportunities that come with it. May they grow in wisdom and knowledge, using their gifts and talents to serve You and others. Proverbs 1:7 tells us, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction." May these children come to know and fear You, Lord, and may that reverence translate into a desire to learn and grow.

We pray that these children would find joy in their studies and school activities, seeing them as opportunities to glorify You and to prepare for the plans You have for their lives. May they be obedient to their parents and teachers, honoring them as unto You. Colossians 3:20 says, "Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord."

Father, we ask that You would break any strongholds of laziness, rebellion, or disinterest in these children's lives. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). May they rise up and take hold of the abundant life You have promised, walking in obedience, diligence, and joy.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting up your children before our Heavenly Father. We know the struggle is real, but we trust that God is more than able to turn their hearts towards diligence and obedience. Let's claim Psalm 119:9-11 for them, "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to Your word. I seek You with all my heart; do not let me stray from Your commands. I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You."

Let's also pray for moments of quiet reflection with them, where they can hear God's voice guiding their hearts and minds. We declare that as they meditate on His word, they will find the motivation and desire to excel in their studies and be obedient to their parents.

And remember, we're here for you too. Let's pray for strength and patience for you as you guide them. We claim Ephesians 6:4 for you, "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious children. It has been our joy to lift them before the Lord, asking Him to stir their hearts toward diligence in their studies, obedience to you as their parents, and a renewed passion for learning. We have prayed that God would replace their laziness with a hunger for knowledge, their rebellion with a spirit of cooperation, and their distraction with focus and purpose.

If you’ve seen God move in their lives—whether through improved attitudes, greater effort in their schoolwork, or a heart that is softening toward obedience—we would love to hear your praise report! Sharing how God is answering prayer encourages all of us to trust Him more deeply.

If, however, you’re still waiting to see change, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we can’t yet see the fruit. Let us press in together, asking the Lord to draw their hearts closer to Him and to the plans He has for their lives.

May the Father bless you with wisdom as you guide them, patience as you walk alongside them, and peace as you trust Him with their futures. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
