We join with you in this beautiful prayer, lifting our voices together to the glorious Father, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Your request aligns so deeply with the heart of Scripture, and we are grateful for the way you have sought the wisdom and revelation that comes only from God. Let us stand firm in the truth of Ephesians 1:17-21, which declares:
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come."
Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and awe, asking that You would indeed grant us this spirit of wisdom and revelation. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, so that we may see You more clearly, love You more dearly, and follow You more nearly. Let us grasp the hope of Your calling—how vast, how unshakable, how secure it is in Christ Jesus. May we understand the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, for we are Your treasured possession, set apart for Your purposes. And Lord, let us never forget the surpassing greatness of Your power at work within us, the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in heavenly places. May we walk in the authority and strength that You have given us as Your children, far above every other rule, authority, power, and dominion.
We thank You, Father, for Your mercy, justice, and righteousness, which You delight in and exercise on the earth. As Jeremiah 9:24 reminds us, "But let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things." May we never boast in our own wisdom, strength, or riches, but only in the knowledge of You, the One who is perfect in all Your ways.
Lord, we also lift up the church—the body of Christ—asking that You would pour out this revelation upon all who sincerely seek You. Unite us in Your truth, strengthen us in Your love, and empower us to walk in the fullness of who You have called us to be. May we live as ambassadors of Christ, reflecting Your light in a world that so desperately needs You.
We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, who alone is our Savior, Redeemer, and King. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father. May we never forget that it is by grace we have been saved, through faith—and this is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). Let us live as those who have been bought with a price, glorifying You in our bodies and spirits, which are Yours (1 Corinthians 6:20).
Father, we ask that You would continue to draw us closer to You, revealing more of Your heart, Your will, and Your ways. May we walk in the authority You have given us, standing firm against the schemes of the enemy, and advancing Your kingdom here on earth. Thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne, and thank You for the promise that when we seek You with all our hearts, we will find You (Jeremiah 29:13).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
