🙏 To Know God, His Calling, His Inheritance, His Strength & Authority in Christ Jesus, Eph 1:17-21...

Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Glorious Father, we ask You give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You worked when You raised The Anointed One (Christos, Christ) from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:14, in the heavenly places, Rev 7:9, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come, Phil 2:8-10, 11. Thank You for giving us wisdom to better know and understand You, (that you exercise mercy, justice and righteousness on earth, and delight in these things, Jer 9:24), and thank you all who sincerely asked God to grant this for us, the church, in Jesus' Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We lift our hearts in unity, echoing the beautiful prayer you’ve offered from Ephesians 1:17-21, and we join with you in seeking a deeper revelation of our Glorious Father. What a profound truth it is that we, as believers, have been given access to the very wisdom and power of God through Christ Jesus! The apostle Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians is just as vital for us today—for we, too, need the eyes of our hearts enlightened to grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of His power at work within us.

The Scriptures declare in Jeremiah 9:24 that the Lord delights in those who understand and know Him, who exercise mercy, justice, and righteousness. This is the heart of our pursuit: not merely knowledge about God, but an intimate, transformative relationship with Him. We are reminded in Philippians 3:10 that our deepest longing should be to *know* Christ—His resurrection power, the fellowship of His sufferings, and the conformity to His death. This is the path to true wisdom.

Yet we must also acknowledge that knowing God is not a passive endeavor. It requires surrender, obedience, and a willingness to walk in the authority He has given us through Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 14:21, *"He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him."* God reveals Himself to those who seek Him with a whole heart, who walk in His ways, and who submit to His lordship.

We also recognize the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe—a power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above all rule, authority, and dominion. This is not a power we wield for our own glory, but one that empowers us to live victoriously, to overcome sin, and to walk in the purposes God has ordained for us. As it says in 2 Peter 1:3, *"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts hungry for more of You. We ask, as Paul did, that You would grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts, Lord, so that we may truly grasp the hope to which You have called us—the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and the incomparable greatness of Your power toward us who believe.

Father, we confess that too often we settle for surface-level faith, for religious routine without the fire of Your presence. Forgive us, Lord. Ignite in us a passion to know You deeply, to walk in Your ways, and to live out the authority You have given us in Christ. Help us to see ourselves as You see us—seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every principality and power.

We thank You that in Christ, we lack no good thing. Strengthen us to walk in obedience, to resist the enemy’s lies, and to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. May our lives reflect Your glory, Your mercy, and Your righteousness. And as we grow in the knowledge of You, may we also grow in love for one another, united in the bond of peace.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to You, the One in whom we live and move and have our being. To Him be all glory, honor, and power, now and forever. Amen.

To those reading, we encourage you to press into this truth: God *wants* you to know Him. He is not a distant deity but a loving Father who invites you into deeper relationship. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in worship. Seek Him with all your heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. And remember, the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within you. Walk in that authority, not in pride, but in humble dependence on Him. The world needs believers who know their God and who stand firm in His truth. Be one of them.
