Please pray for God to heal me of all my sickness & grand me peace & clarity mentally. In Jesus name I pray Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you navigate this profound betrayal and deep emotional pain. Your husband’s infidelity, especially during a time of serious illness, is a grievous violation of the sacred covenant of marriage, and his lack of remorse compounds the wound. The Bible is clear that marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33), a bond of faithfulness, sacrifice, and mutual honor. His actions have not only broken your trust but have dishonored God’s design for marriage.

We rebuke the spirit of unrepentance in your husband’s life. Scripture warns, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Yet he shifts blame onto you for not extending forgiveness, which is a distortion of God’s truth. Forgiveness is a process, not a demand to be forced, especially when there is no repentance. Jesus Himself said, "If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him" (Luke 17:3). True repentance involves sorrow for sin, turning away from it, and seeking restoration, not deflection or manipulation.

Your anger and confusion are understandable, but we pray for the Lord to guard your heart from bitterness. "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15). We also lift up your physical and mental healing, declaring God’s promise: "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

As you seek clarity, we encourage you to anchor yourself in God’s Word. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can help you discern whether restoration is possible or if separation is necessary for your protection and well-being. The Lord does not desire for you to remain in a cycle of abuse or unrepentant sin.

We pray fervently for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her broken heart to You. Lord, You are the God who heals the wounded and binds up the brokenhearted. We ask for Your supernatural touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. Bring healing to every area of sickness and restore her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask for clarity and wisdom as she navigates this painful season. Reveal Your will for her marriage and give her the strength to walk in obedience to You, whether that means extending grace for restoration or finding the courage to walk away from unrepentant sin.

We rebuke the spirit of infidelity and unrepentance in her husband’s life. Soften his heart, Lord, and bring him to true repentance. If he remains unrepentant, we pray for Your protection over her heart and future. Surround her with godly community and fill her with Your comfort. Help her to release her anger and hurt into Your hands, trusting You as her ultimate Defender and Redeemer. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn her mourning into joy (Psalm 30:11).

Above all, Lord, we pray that she would draw nearer to You in this season. May she experience Your presence as her Comforter and Strength. Remind her that her identity is found in Christ alone, not in the faithfulness of her spouse. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs. Amen.

You are not alone in this. The Lord sees your pain and is working even now to bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Cling to Him, and allow His Word to be a lamp to your feet in this dark season. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, or support group for those who have experienced betrayal. You deserve to be heard, loved, and guided with biblical truth.

We can barely imagine how disorienting and painful this season has been for you, facing serious illness only to discover your husband's betrayal, and then having your hurt turned back on you as though your struggle to forgive is the real problem. That is a lonely and confusing place to be, and your sadness and anger make complete sense. They are not a lack of faith; they are the honest response of a heart that has been deeply wounded by someone who should have been a source of safety, especially while you were so vulnerable.

When everything feels tangled, your health, your emotions, the marriage, the anger, the uncertainty about which way to go, it helps to untangle one thing at a time. Right now, your own healing, physically and mentally, deserves steady attention. If you haven't already, we'd gently encourage you to keep working with your doctor or a medical professional you trust, alongside the prayer you are already pouring out to God. Chronic illness alone is heavy to carry; carrying it while grieving a betrayal makes that care all the more vital. Give yourself permission not to have all the answers yet. Forgiveness in the wake of deep marital unfaithfulness is a journey, not a switch to flip when someone demands it. The pressure your husband is putting on you is not the same as God's gentle leading, and you are not failing because you can't rush your heart to catch up.

One practical step might be to seek out a wise, in-person guide, a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted older woman in the faith, who can walk with you through this without pressuring you to move faster than you are able. You need a safe space to process the betrayal, to ask your hardest questions, and to weigh next steps without accusation. God does not abandon a wife in a situation like yours; He promises to lead the humble, and you are already asking Him to do that. That prayer is a starting point, not a finish line.

Let us pray for you:

Lord Jesus, be close to our sister. You see the cruelty of what she has endured, and You hold her in Your compassion. Please bring tangible relief to her body and steady clarity to her mind. Lift the cloud of confusion and replace it with Your peace that doesn't depend on a husband's remorse. Give her wisdom for each next decision, and surround her with caring people who will support her without condemnation. Heal what has been shattered, and make a safe path forward, we ask in Your name, Amen.

There is no sickness that is so hard to bear as the sickness that is caused by sin. Yet, if there are any here who are sick in this way, let me say that I am glad that they are thus afflicted, for this is a sickness which ends in everlasting health! It is the Word of God, applied by the Holy Spirit, that is the means of healing sin-sick souls, and the Lord Jesus Christ is THE WORD OF GOD, it is He whom God has sent for the healing of poor sin-sick souls! Let this whisper drive away despair: “There is forgiveness.” “There is forgiveness.” O man, there is forgiveness for your sins, whatever they may have been!

Do as Martin Luther did, in the days of his dark distress, when a brother monk said to him, “Do you not believe in the Creed, and do you not say, ‘I believe in the forgiveness of sins’? Now believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself.” For “I, even I, am he”, this sentence contained no conditions, and the blessed Gospel, speaking to every repenting and believing sinner, gives absolute forgiveness. First, forgiveness; then, healing. He was absolutely, irreversibly, eternally forgiven.

And once they are really cured by Christ, there is no fear of their ever having this soul-sickness again! The great all-suffering High Priest became able to sympathize with us in every point, even in betrayal. Some of us have had so much manifest forgiveness, so much outward sin forgiven, that for us to forgive ought to be as natural as to open our hands. “Forgiving one another.” There is forgiveness with you.

Father, we bring before You this one who is burdened by deep sadness, confusion, and the pain of betrayal. You see their wounded heart and know the weight of their suffering, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You grant them clarity and guidance in the midst of uncertainty, for those who trust in You will be directed (Proverbs 3:5-6). Heal their body, mind, and spirit, for You are the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26). Replace their anguish with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). Grant them wisdom to know the path forward, and surround them with Your comfort and strength. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sickness of your body is joined with a deeper wound of soul, and both cry out for the Physician who can truly heal. Know that when affliction multiplies, God is not distant but often nearest in the fire, purifying and drawing the heart to seek Him alone. Do not think it strange that this betrayal came while you were already weak, for the enemy strikes most fiercely at the wounded. But Christ was betrayed too in His hour of sorrow, and He endured it to show that suffering can be offered up for greater amendment. Your tears are seen, and He who permits the trial will provide the strength to bear it if you cling to Him.

Yet I must speak plainly about the sin that has caused this sorrow. Adultery is a grave evil, a breaking of the covenant made before God, and to commit it while a spouse lies ill reveals a heart grown cold and cruel. Even more serious is the utter absence of remorse and the shifting of blame onto you for not forgiving quickly enough. This is not repentance but self-justification, which the Scriptures warn us brings condemnation. A man who refuses to acknowledge his sin, who treats a wife’s grief as her own failing, stands in great spiritual peril. To forgive is commanded, yes, but true forgiveness requires true repentance on the part of the offender. What you are being pressed to give is not forgiveness but a false peace that covers over unhealed wounds. Do not be quick to call that virtue which is only the silence of the wounded.

Regarding your husband’s unremorseful spirit, you must seek godly counsel from the elders of the church, not from the world. If he will not hear you, take witnesses. The matter of his ongoing callousness must be addressed with firmness, lest by easy pardon you enable his soul to remain in darkness. I have often grieved over those who refuse the physician’s care and then perish, lamenting their self-willed ruin. Do not think that your silence will heal him; it may only confirm him in his sin, while you carry a burden too heavy for you alone.

Above all, pray not only for your own healing but for clarity to see what is right. The confusion you feel will lift as you draw near to the light of Scripture and the voice of the Spirit, not the confused noise of a world that calls evil good. Physical sickness, mental anguish, these are like a furnace that refines, but they are not your identity. Your peace lies in Christ alone, not in your husband’s changed behavior, though we pray earnestly for that. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and entrust your body and mind to the One who knit you together. He is able to restore health to both flesh and spirit, sometimes by miracle, sometimes by granting endurance, but always giving what is needed for salvation.

Find refuge in the assembly, in the prayers of the faithful, and in the words of Scripture, which are not human opinions but God speaking to your soul. Stand firm on the truth, even when it is painful, and do not let false guilt or misplaced compassion drive you to bless what God calls sin. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted; walk carefully, seek wise counsel, and wait on Him who judges justly.
