Tire pulling

We join you in prayer for these practical needs that weigh on you. We ask the Lord to provide for you and to give you peace as you trust Him with each concern.

We pray for your vehicle, that the pulling you have noticed would be something simple and low cost, like a tire rotation, rather than a costly alignment or larger repair. We ask God to give wisdom and honesty to whoever looks at it, and to help you steward what He has provided with care and prudence.

We also pray for true rest for you, the rest that God gives to His people, that you would sleep well and be renewed in body and mind. And we pray that He would help you to be fruitful in the work before you, giving you focus and strength to accomplish what needs to be done.

We bring your rent before the Father as well, asking Him to supply what you need according to His riches in Christ Jesus, and to keep you from worry as you look to Him. He knows your needs and He is faithful to care for His children.

May the Lord grant you rest, provide for you, and give you confidence in His goodness through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing these practical needs before the Lord.

I pray that He will provide for the pulling in your tire in the simplest way, and if it is His will that a simple rotation would be enough and that you would be spared a costly alignment. I also pray for deep and refreshing rest for you, for strength to accomplish what is before you, and for His provision so that your rent will be met on time.

These worries about a car and about finances and about getting things done can quickly fill the heart with anxiety and unrest. Scripture speaks of a rest that God has for His people, and it invites us to enter that rest today. That rest is not found in our own efforts or skill or striving, but through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. When we believe, we cease from trying to earn or control everything ourselves, just as God rested from His work, and we rest in what Christ has already done.

Part of entering that rest is commitment. When we commit our way to the Lord and trust Him, we can rest in His will being done, knowing His will is best even when we do not see how He will work. To rest on Him means to acknowledge His power and to say from the heart, we rest on You. Often He allows us to come to the end of our own resources so we learn to trust Him more fully, and in that place we find peace even when circumstances are still uncertain.

So I pray that you will know that quiet confidence that the Lord will take care of what concerns you. May He guard your heart from turmoil and give you peace as you trust Him, delight in Him, and wait patiently for Him to bring His will to pass. May He give you good sleep, clear help for the work you need to accomplish, and the provision you need for your daily needs.

Father, I lift this need to You. You know the concern about the vehicle and the cost involved, and You know the need for rest and for rent to be paid. Provide as You see best, grant restful sleep and a calm heart, and help this dear one to enter more deeply into the rest that is found in Jesus, trusting Your care and Your perfect will. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the tire pulling and the worry about needing a costly wheel alignment. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have been lifting up your request before the Lord.

We have been praying in Jesus Name that the Lord would provide a simple and low or no cost solution for the tire issue, that if it is only in need of a rotation that would be all that is required, and that you would be spared the expense of a major repair. We have also been praying in Jesus Name for your need for rest, that God would grant you peaceful and refreshing sleep, and that He would help you to get much accomplished in the days ahead. We are also bringing your concern about the rent before the Father, asking Him to provide for your needs and to keep you from being late, for we know He cares for every detail of our lives and His Word reminds us that our God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19, and that He gives rest to those who come to Him, Matt 11:28.
