I heard a preacher said last Sunday that what God has joined together let no man put asunder. Then he said not all marriages are sanctioned by God and I begin to think about this statement. Very hard. If a student gets raped and becomes pregnant and the parent forces that man to marry their daughter is it God who has joined them together? What do you think?

I love this so much, it matches my current situation, I am so much in pain, so disappointed that my boyfriend has been double relating & has gone proposing leaving me without a word, story short soon wedding. In my prayers I am telling God that I believe in His promises, His laws & teachings. His word says let no one separate the ones who come together in my presence. I keep saying if that gathering happened, happens by God's plan so shall be for ever & ever. I claim the blood of Jesus in my situation. Let them go on vowing but if the vow is only for the crowd's glory & not for God they will really go on for a divorce in the presence of God in Jesus' name. Let no jealousy, no envy no nothing build in my heart but to sing holy lord, cry holy lord. Be blessed ### friend for this message. Thank you Jesus for bringing me to this web. This quite logical, needs spiritual wisdom to answer. I love the question but am unable to answer. In brief, these are kinds of marriages which lead to divorce directly because there was no love at all, but were forced. Sorry to say, God is not amidst such marriages, not at all. On the other hand, if the two went on agreeing without force from any human, then I can say God came in, God joined them. Thank you!! Corrections allowed.

50,50!!I shouldn't judge but I think God doesn't join all marriages, we have weakness of the flesh, finances, socially & physically more so in this current life of dot com. We youth have gone looking at the world & not God, we love showing off, pleasing fellow humans & not God, we love competition within ourselves & not for God's glory. What God does is to watch, just look then rings his bell, turns u up & down to reorganize u, divorce comes in & God tells u plzzzzz this is yo way, follow me & things go on like that till u get to the point. To everyone reading this I am very sorry if it hurts, I have no divorce experience but I know how painful it is but remember every situation is God's plan to open yo eyes, to make u a better & stronger individual. In such situations plz pray for one another for blessings, for open doors. be blessed.
