We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. What you describe—this sense of thought broadcasting and demonic oppression—is deeply troubling, and we take it seriously. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke this oppression in the mighty name of Jesus and command any demonic influence to flee from you now. The Word declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Your struggle with anger, hatred toward loved ones, and feelings of cowardice are not who you are in Christ. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and He desires to transform your heart. "For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23). We pray that God would fill you afresh with His Spirit, replacing anger with peace, hatred with love, and fear with courage. You are not a coward—you are a child of God, called to walk in boldness because the Spirit of the Lord is upon you (2 Timothy 1:7).
Your desire to quit vaping, fast, and stop overeating is a step toward honoring God with your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray for discipline and self-control to rise up within you, not by your own strength, but by the power of Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that draws you closer to God and weakens the flesh. We encourage you to start small—perhaps with a single meal or a day—and let the Lord meet you in that place of surrender.
Most importantly, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned praying "in Jesus' name," and we rejoice that you recognize the authority and power in that name. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the starting point of a life transformed by the power of God. If you have already done this, we encourage you to renew your commitment to Him daily, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is crying out for deliverance and freedom. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and torment that has taken hold of his mind. We declare that he is a child of God, washed in the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask You to break every chain of thought broadcasting, anger, and addiction in his life. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon him. Soften his heart toward his loved ones, replacing hatred with love and bitterness with forgiveness. Give him the courage to face his struggles with boldness, knowing that You are with him. Strengthen him to overcome vaping, overeating, and any other bondage in his life. Teach him the discipline of fasting and prayer, drawing him closer to You with each step.
Lord, we ask that You would heal his mind and renew his thoughts. Let him take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Remind him of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Surround him with godly community who can support and encourage him in his walk with You.
We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37). May he experience Your freedom, Your joy, and Your peace in every area of his life. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope. The Lord sees your struggles and your desire to change. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Consider reaching out to a pastor or trusted Christian counselor who can provide additional support. You are loved, and your breakthrough is coming.
