We come before You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of faith and trust in Your sovereign plan, as declared in Your Word. You have promised in Psalm 138:8, "Yahweh will fulfill his purpose for me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands." And in Jeremiah 29:11, You assure us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We hold fast to these promises, believing that Your plans for us are good, and we surrender every concern into Your loving hands.
For our son, we pray for godly friendships that will sharpen and encourage him in his walk with You. May he seek companions who love You and desire to live according to Your Word. We ask for wisdom and discernment as he prepares for marriage, that he would find a wife who loves You wholeheartedly and shares his commitment to building a Christ-centered home. Strengthen him in mind and body, Lord, that he may serve You with vigor and joy. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2).
For our daughter and her husband, we lift them up before You. Guide her to a fulfilling and God-honoring niche in her work, and open doors of opportunity for her husband to provide for their family. May their marriage be a testament to Your love, built on trust, mutual respect, and unwavering faith in You. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). We pray for unity and strength in their relationship, that they would lean on You in every season.
For all those in need of employment, we ask for Your provision. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can offer opportunities. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). May they find work that not only meets their needs but also allows them to use their gifts for Your glory.
For the Christian lady in an abusive work setting, we pray for Your protection and deliverance. Give her courage to stand firm in her faith and wisdom to navigate this difficult situation.
