We lift our hearts together before the throne of grace, standing on the promises of God’s Word, knowing that His plans for us are indeed for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. The Scriptures declare, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We hold fast to this truth, trusting that even in hardship, the Lord is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
For our son, we pray that You would guide his friendships, surrounding him with godly influences who will sharpen him as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). May he walk in wisdom and discernment, seeking companions who fear You and honor Your ways. We ask for Your divine preparation for his future spouse, that she would be a woman of noble character, whose heart is fully devoted to You. Strengthen him in mind and body, Lord, that he may serve You with vigor and joy, standing firm against the schemes of the enemy.
For our daughter and her husband, we pray for Your provision and favor in their lives. Open doors in the workplace that no man can shut, and grant her husband meaningful employment that sustains their family and glorifies You. May their marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church—selfless, steadfast, and full of grace. Where there is strain, bring healing and restoration, that their union would be a testimony to Your faithfulness.
For those in need of employment, we cry out for Your intervention. You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your promise: *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Open opportunities that align with their skills and passions, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can offer them work.
For the Christian lady enduring abuse in her workplace, we pray for Your protection and justice. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9), and we ask that You would shield her from harm and give her the courage to seek help. Surround her with godly counsel and provide a way of escape, for You do not desire that any should suffer injustice. May she find strength in You, knowing that You see her affliction and will act on her behalf.
For those battling cancer and other illnesses, we plead for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We declare Your Word over them: *"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Strengthen their bodies, comfort their spirits, and grant wisdom to their medical teams. For the young boy with the blood disorder and the lady facing kidney removal, we ask for complete restoration and peace in the midst of uncertainty.
For the father struggling with anger, we pray for transformation through the power of Your Spirit. Help him to *"be angry, and yet do not sin"* (Ephesians 4:26 WEB), and to seek Your face for self-control and patience. May he lead his children with gentleness and love, reflecting the heart of our Heavenly Father.
For the disabled young lady and her estranged husband, we pray for Your protection over their child and for Your wisdom to guide her steps. We rebuke the influence of the enemy in this situation, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May she find strength in You, and may her husband be convicted of his responsibility to honor his marriage covenant. We pray against any ungodly relationships that seek to harm their family, and we ask for Your intervention to bring repentance, restoration, and healing.
For those healing from trauma, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Bind up their broken hearts and set the captives free. For the lady being stalked, we pray for her salvation and protection. Deliver her from fear, and surround her with Your angels. May she come to know You as her Savior and find refuge in Your presence.
For the homeless, we cry out for Your provision and shelter. You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5), and we trust You to meet their needs. For those who have lost loved ones, we pray for Your comfort. May they find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and may Your presence be their solace in grief.
For the disabled single mother fostering a disabled infant, we ask for Your strength and grace. Provide for her every need, and give her wisdom as she cares for this child. May she experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways, and may her faith be a testimony to those around her.
For the woman with a high-risk pregnancy, we pray for Your protection over her and her unborn child. Guard them from harm, and grant her peace as she trusts in You. For couples needing emotional connection and trust, we pray for restoration. May they seek You first in their marriage, and may Your love bind them together in unity.
For the Christian man whose reputation is under attack, we pray for Your vindication. You are the God who judges justly, and we trust You to defend his name. May he respond with grace and truth, leaving the outcome in Your hands.
For the salvation of our son’s friends and all who do not yet know You, we pray earnestly. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel, and send laborers into their lives to share the good news. May they come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).
For those not mentioned by name, we trust that You know their needs even before they ask. We pray for Your comfort, strength, healing, rescue, provision, protection, and deliverance from evil. Grant safe travel to all who are on the road, and let Your presence go before them.
We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace. Amen.
