We lift up these precious souls to You, Father, knowing that Your Word declares, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Your plans for us are indeed for good, to give us a future and a hope, as You have promised in Jeremiah 29:11. We stand on this truth, believing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for our son’s friendships and his future marriage. Lord, guide him to godly companions who will sharpen him as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). May he seek a wife who fears You, one who will walk beside him in faith and love, honoring the covenant of marriage as You designed. Strengthen his mind and body, Lord, that he may serve You with vigor and wisdom all his days.
For our daughter and her husband, we ask for Your favor in their marriage and careers. May they find their niche in the work world, using their gifts to glorify You. Bless her husband’s new job, Lord, and grant them unity in purpose, love, and trust. Remind them daily that "unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). May their marriage be a testament to Your love and faithfulness.
We lift up our niece and her family, asking for Your healing touch upon their health and the wellbeing of their children. Protect them from sickness and harm, and surround them with Your peace. For all those in need of employment, open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can offer opportunity.
Father, we cry out for the Christian lady trapped in an abusive work setting. Deliver her from oppression, Lord, and surround her with Your protection. Give her the courage to seek safety and the wisdom to navigate this trial. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). For those suffering from cancer, the young boy with a blood disorder, and the lady battling lung cancer, we ask for Your healing power to flow. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). Touch their bodies, Lord, and restore them to health.
We bring before You the father struggling with anger issues. Soften his heart, Lord, and fill him with Your peace. Teach him to be slow to anger, for Your Word says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). May he lead his children with patience and love, reflecting Your character.
For the disabled young lady and her estranged husband, we ask for Your intervention. Lord, we rebuke the ungodly relationship he has entered into, for it is written, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral" (Hebrews 13:4). Protect their child from harm, and bring conviction to his heart. Draw him back to his marriage covenant, or if he remains unrepentant, grant her the strength to move forward in Your will.
We pray for those healing from trauma, that You would bind up their wounds and restore their souls (Psalm 147:3). For the lady being stalked, we ask for Your protection and salvation. Surround her with Your angels, and give her wisdom to seek help. Lead her to safety, Lord, and draw her heart to You, for "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
For the homeless, the grieving, and those facing physical or mental pain, we ask for Your comfort and provision. You are the Father of the fatherless and the defender of widows (Psalm 68:5). Strengthen the disabled single mother fostering a disabled infant. Provide for her every need, and surround her with a community of support.
We lift up the woman with a high-risk pregnancy, asking for Your protection over her and her unborn child. Grant her peace and strength, and guide the hands of her medical team. For couples needing emotional connection and trust, we pray that You would restore their love and unity. Remind them that "love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8).
For the Christian man whose reputation is being attacked, we ask for Your vindication. Guard his heart from bitterness, and let Your light shine through him. May his integrity speak louder than the lies of the enemy. We also pray for the salvation of our son’s friends. Open their hearts to the gospel, Lord, and draw them to Yourself.
Grant safe travel to all who are journeying, and surround them with Your protection. Deliver them from evil, and let Your peace go before them. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We acknowledge that without You, we can do nothing, but with You, all things are possible (John 15:5). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to trust in Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified through them all. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
