Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ###. We lift up his prayer request to you, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who hears our cries. Lord, we acknowledge that this has been a challenging year for ###, and he is facing a difficult holiday season without friends and employment.
We pray, Lord, that you would surround ### with your comforting presence during this time. Fill his heart with encouragement and strength, and guard him against falling into depression and despair. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you would be near to ###, comforting him and lifting his spirit.
Father, we also lift up ###'s need for employment. We pray that you would open doors for him and provide the right job opportunity at the right time. We trust in your perfect timing and ask for your guidance and favor in his job search. Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 29:11 that you have plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We claim this promise for ###'s life, believing that you have good plans in store for him.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that you would bring new friendships into ###'s life. Surround him with people who will support and encourage him, and who will walk alongside him during this season. Help him to find a community where he can find fellowship and companionship.
We commit ### into your loving hands, knowing that you are faithful and that you care deeply for him. May he experience your peace and joy, even in the midst of his current circumstances. We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
