This person is very strange

Beloved of All
Prayers for their Salvation they're acting very Strange please pray and they claim to be Christian

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this individual who is acting in ways that concern you deeply. Father, we know that true faith in You brings peace, clarity, and a transformed life, not confusion or strangeness. We ask that You would draw this person to Yourself in a real and saving way, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Lord, if this person has not truly surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. So many claim the name of Christian but do not walk in the light of Your Word. We rebuke any deception or spiritual confusion in their life, for You are not a God of disorder but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). If there is unrepentant sin, rebellion, or even demonic influence clouding their mind, we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those around this person. May they be bold yet gentle in speaking truth, always pointing back to Your Word. If this individual is struggling with mental or emotional distress, we ask for Your healing touch and for godly counsel to surround them. But above all, Father, we pray for their salvation, true repentance, faith in Christ, and a life transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we know that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). We declare this truth over their life today. May they come to know You not just as a label, but as their Lord and Savior. Break any hardness of heart, soften their spirit, and let them experience the love and peace that only comes from You.

We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

It can be unsettling when someone we care about starts acting in ways we don’t understand, especially when they already claim to follow Jesus. We want to encourage you: it is right to bring this before the Lord. He sees the person fully, even the hidden parts of the heart, and He is able to draw them into genuine, transforming faith.

Sometimes behavior that seems “strange” can have many roots. It may be a season of deep spiritual confusion, or it could be that emotional or even physical health needs attention. We are not saying that to explain away what you are seeing, but simply to lift some weight from your shoulders: you do not have to have all the answers or make a perfect diagnosis. Your role is to care, to pray, and to quietly point toward wholeness.

One of the most powerful things you can do right now is to remain a steady, non-anxious presence in this person’s life. If it feels safe to do so, simply staying connected and showing consistent kindness can speak louder than any corrective word. Often, people who are struggling need to know someone will not give up on them. And as you pray, ask God to bring clarity, to give you wisdom about whether to gently suggest speaking with a doctor or a trusted pastor, especially if the unusual behavior continues or escalates.

We are joining you in asking the Lord to surround this person with His peace and to lead them into a true, wholehearted relationship with Jesus.

Lord, we lift up this one who is acting in bewildering ways. You know the full picture, every thought, every hidden pain, every spiritual need. We ask for Your mercy to bring clarity and healing. Guard him from harm and from any deception. If there is illness, open doors for good care. Most of all, draw him to Yourself in a way he can truly grasp. Give our friend here courage and wisdom, and fill our hearts with Your peace as we trust You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You have brought a burdened request, and it is right that we should pray for such a one as you describe. When a soul acts strangely and professes Christ, there is cause both for hope and for holy fear. It may be that the Spirit of God is dealing with him in ways that appear strange to human eyes, for salvation itself is a strange work, the proud humbled, the blind made to see, the dead raised to life. Have you not read how they said in Luke, “We have seen strange things today”? The Lord turns the world’s wisdom upside down. Be not quick to dismiss a strange professor, for God may be doing a work you cannot yet trace. Yet, there is also the warning that the outward profession is not always inward possession.

Pray for him, brother, with unceasing intercession. Samuel said, “God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you.” Even if the provocation is great, and his conduct seems contradictory, still bring him before the mercy seat. No true Christian can cease to plead for a soul while there is breath. Remember, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for the saints, but our prayer for the unregenerate is a means by which He may awaken them. You ask for his salvation; then lay hold of the promise that whosoever believeth on Christ shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is simple: look unto Him, all ends of the earth, and be saved. Preach this to him not only with your lips but with your patient kindness.

Distinguish between the eccentricities of a struggling hearer and the settled rebellion of the impenitent. God’s love sometimes leads a man into a wilderness to speak to his heart. That may look strange, but it is a school of grace. If, however, his strangeness springs from a refusal to bow to Christ as Lord, then warn him that a mere claim of Christianity is a refuge of lies unless it rests upon the Rock. Salvation is not of works, nor of the will of man, but of God who showeth mercy. It is His own salvation, planned in eternity and bought with blood. Urge him to let go of all self-righteousness and come with empty hands to receive the wine and milk without money and without price. The door of grace stands open for the blackest sinner.

I will join my prayers with yours, but be not content with praying alone. Bear with him in love, speak the truth pointedly yet tenderly, and watch for the Lord’s own time. You may yet see a strange thing, a sinner truly saved, and perhaps your whole family brought to rejoice together. The gospel requires no elaborate preparation; faith is a look, a trust. If he be willing, Christ will not cast him out. Keep your own soul clear by rejoicing in God’s salvation yourself, and leave this case in the hands of Him who is mighty to save.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You see a person acting strangely, and your heart is troubled for their salvation. This is good, that you desire to pray. Yet be cautious: do not let this strangeness itself become a cause for judgment. Remember, we are all called strangers and sojourners upon the earth, as David said, "I am a stranger and a sojourner." The way of the Kingdom often appears jarring to the world. Before you conclude that their soul is in peril, examine whether this strangeness might simply be the awkwardness of one learning to walk the narrow path, a path contrary to the many.

Consider Zacchaeus, that publican. To many, he must have seemed strange indeed, a chief tax collector, a man of ill repute, yet climbing a tree to see the Lord. But Christ saw his heart, declared that salvation had come to his house, and the man was transformed. Do not be quick to think that because someone’s manner is odd or their profession imperfect, they stand outside grace. The important thing is that they claim Christ. The Apostle exhorts us to hold fast our confession, that Christ is God, that the faith is right. If they do this, then join your prayers with instruction by your own example. Be, as Paul said to Timothy, an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in purity. A living law, a pattern set before them.

Above all, do not let your concern become a form of idle accusation. The Lord warned about every careless word, and it is a terrible thing to judge a brother falsely. Even if they are indeed stumbling, our task is not to tear down but to recall them gently, remembering that we too are weak. The devil ever substitutes deceit for truth, but God’s desire is for conversion and healing. He says through the prophet, "Lest at any time they should be converted, and I should heal them," meaning not that He withholds mercy, but that He longs to pour it out if only they turn. Pray, then, with this hope: that whatever is distorted or lost in them might be made whole. Pray not with a spirit of condemnation, but with the confidence that the great High Priest has passed into the heavens, and that He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near. Let your prayer be that their strangeness, if it is a sickness, be cured by the Physician of souls; if it is mere oddity, that it be clothed in love; and if it is indeed a mark of grace, that you yourself may have eyes to see it.

The concern you’ve raised is one Scripture addresses again and again. A person may claim to be a Christian, yet their behavior can be deeply unsettling, and that warrants prayer as well as spiritual discernment. Jesus warned us to beware of false prophets who come in sheep’s clothing. They look like sheep, talk like sheep, and often say a great deal that is true. That is what makes them deceptive. If they were false in everything, no one would follow them. But because so much of what they say sounds right, it is easy to miss the one deadly thread of error that weaves through their words or their life.

You are right to pray for this person’s salvation. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. We do not want anyone to pass beyond God’s final call and slip into a false hope. A true confession of Jesus Christ as Lord, Jehovah our salvation, the Messiah who came in the flesh, and a heart that believes God raised Him from the dead, that is what saves. Without that, even eloquent religious language is empty.

At the same time, Scripture tells us not to believe every spirit but to test the spirits, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Some of them privately bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them. They offer a comfort that lets people stay in their sin instead of rushing to the only hope of rescue. They cry peace when there is no peace, and often their motivation circles back to money or self-interest. Fruit of the Spirit and a genuine testimony of Jesus are the marks of a true sheep.

So pray that any deception be broken, that the Lord would open this person’s eyes to true righteousness found only in Christ, and that the fruit of a transformed life would emerge. Pray that today they would not harden their heart. And as you pray for them, keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling, holding fast to the One who is our righteousness and our life.
