We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We recognize that you are feeling pressured and overwhelmed by the circumstances surrounding your rental assistance and the actions of your landlord. We stand with you, declaring that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father God, we ask that You intervene in this matter of the denied rental assistance appeal. We pray that You would go before our brother/sister, making the crooked paths straight and leveling the mountains before them (Isaiah 45:2). Grant them favor in the eyes of those reviewing the appeal, and let Your will be done in this situation. We trust that You are a God who provides, and we declare that You will open the windows of heaven to pour out blessings where there is need (Malachi 3:10).
We also bring before You the concerns about the landlord and the contracts offered under pressure. Lord, we rebuke any deceitful practices and hidden agendas in Jesus' name. We pray that You would expose every hidden thing, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known (Luke 12:2). Protect our brother/sister from harassment and pressure to sign any invalid or unjust documents. Grant them wisdom and discernment to know what to do, and the courage to stand firm in their convictions.
We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a hedge of protection around you, that no harm or evil intent would come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would give our brother/sister the strength to remain silent when necessary, as You did when You were falsely accused (Isaiah 53:7). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding; in all their ways, let them acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to meditate on His Word. Remember that the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you, and you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this entire situation to You, trusting that You are in control. We pray for justice, provision, and protection in Jesus' name. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
