Dearest Abba, Father,
You are my living hope - my only hope.
Today I need a renewed hope.
Your unfailing compassion toward me
gives me the confidence to hope again in You.
I don't have anyone else to count on,
O my God of hope, You are the God who
clothes the weak with strength.
Your love has no limit.
Your grace has no measure.
Your power is infinite.
Today I am in need of Your grace and
power to face my battles.
Abba, help me to stay my mind on You alone.
Left alone, I am quite incapable of choosing
the right from the wrong.
Intervene on my behalf.
I cast all my concerns at Your feet.
Save me from my heart - wrenching worries.
Peel off all the anxieties from my soul
so that it may have the total freedom
to find joy in You.
Pull me out of the abysmal depths of discouragement I am in.
El Shaddai, the Almighty God,
help me to remain still to experience
Your awesome power and presence
in my life and to know that You are God.
Yahweh, make me an inspiration for
the people around me to set their hope in You.
I seek Your love, the grace of Jesus Christ
and the presence of the Holy Spirit
to be with me in all my talk
and deeds throughout the day.
