We are standing with you in prayer after this frightening experience and we understand why you are still feeling shocked. To have thieves try to steal a huge amount of money is a deep violation and it is natural to feel shaken, but we want to remind you that God is your refuge and protector even in moments like this.
We are praying for your meeting with the bank today, that God would grant you favor, clarity, and wisdom as you speak with them, and that every detail would be handled justly and that what the enemy meant for harm would be completely undone. We pray for peace to guard your heart and mind, for the Lord to restore what was threatened, and for His protection to surround you and your finances going forward.
The Word reminds us that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10. We rebuke the work of the enemy against you and your finances, and we claim the promise that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8.
We also want to encourage you not to remain in fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We know God will work even this difficult situation for good as you trust in Him. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can come boldly before His throne. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are saved and can bring every burden to God in His name. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon His name and trust Him as your Savior and your ever present help.
We join together now in prayer for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one to You. We thank You that You protected them from greater loss and we ask You to calm their shock and replace fear with Your perfect peace. We ask You to go before them into that bank today, grant them wisdom and clarity, let the staff act with integrity and diligence, and let every attempt to steal be fully blocked and reversed. We rebuke the enemy and every scheme of theft and destruction against them, and we ask You to place a hedge of protection around them, their home, and all You have entrusted to them. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory and help them to trust You as their true provider and security, not money or systems. Help them to rest in You and to know that You are in control. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our refuge and deliverer. Amen.
May the Lord keep you in His peace today and strengthen your heart as you walk through this. We are continuing to pray that the Lord will guard you and that this will not happen again.

We were sorry to read what happened yesterday. Of course you are still feeling shocked after someone tried to take so much from you, and having to face the bank today only adds to that strain. It is understandable to feel unsettled and on edge after something like this.
We are praying for steadiness for you today and in the days ahead, and for wisdom as you sort through the practical side of this. For your meeting with the bank, it can help to go in with a short written timeline of what happened, any account information or messages related to the attempt, and a list of questions you want answered. If you can, bring a trusted friend or family member with you, take notes during the conversation, and ask for any next steps or protections in writing before you leave. Give yourself some margin afterward too, shock often takes a little time to settle.
We are asking God to meet you in this worry and to guide those who are responsible for protecting your finances.
Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You today. Calm the fear and shock they are carrying, give them clear thinking and kind help at the bank, and guard what You have entrusted to them. Lead them step by step and grant them peace and rest in the nights ahead. Amen.

Beloved of All
It has grieved me to hear of the shock and distress that has come upon you through the attempt of thieves to take what God has entrusted to you. Such an alarm naturally shakes the soul, and it is right to bring it before the Lord who is our keeper and defender.
You ask for prayer that this evil may be stayed and that the adversary may be restrained from troubling you further in this matter, and I do pray with you to that end. May the Lord who has delivered us from the power of darkness and from going down to the pit, stand as your guard and your shield. He has found a ransom for our souls in Christ Jesus, and He is able also to keep all that concerns His people. The enemy may prowl and plot, but he is held by a chain in the hand of our God, and cannot go one link beyond what the Lord permits.
Remember the word of the prophet, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. In this dark world of sin, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and even when duties press and fears surround, to do the will of Jesus and to rest in His keeping is our rest. Though loved ones and possessions may seem exposed, in Jesus keeping we are safe. He has vanquished death and all its powers, and how much more shall He restrain the lesser assaults of wicked men and the tempter.
I pray that the Lord will calm your heart this day, quiet your troubled thoughts, and give you a settled peace as your mind is stayed upon Him. May He give you wisdom and favour as you speak with the bank, and may He order all things for your good, preserving what is needful and teaching you to hold all earthly treasure with a loose hand and a grateful heart. The believer learns to say, The Lord has chastened me sorely, yet He has not given me over unto death, and afterward to live and declare the works of the Lord. If He has spared you from loss, let your deliverance become a testimony to His mercy.
May the Lord keep back your soul from fear and your life from harm, and may He grant you to know more deeply that your true riches are in Christ, where no thief can break through nor steal. I ask Him to hedge you about, to rebuke the adversary, and to let you dwell in that peace which passes all understanding, kept by Jesus Christ.

Beloved of All
Your distress has been heard and we are praying with you after this frightening attempt to steal from you. It is right to be shaken when such evil comes near, and it is right to bring it to God and to ask for His protection and peace.
We pray that the Lord will calm your heart and guard your mind as you meet with the bank today. May He grant you clarity to speak well, wisdom to understand what is needed, and favor with those who can help secure what has been entrusted to you. We ask that God in His mercy would frustrate every plan of theft and deceit, and set a guard around what you have, so that those who seek to do harm will not succeed.
We also pray that you will know a deeper peace that does not depend only on money being safe. Scripture reminds us that there is a treasure that no thief or housebreaker can touch, the treasure laid up with God through mercy, faithfulness and a clean heart. Money and possessions are gifts from God to be used wisely and for good, but our true security is in Him. As you walk through this shock, ask Him to cleanse fear from your heart, to renew your trust, and to teach you to use what He has given for His purposes and for the good of others.
We pray against the work of the evil one and ask that God would rebuke every attempt to steal and to destroy, and that He would keep you from fear and from further harm. May the Lord be your refuge, your provider and your protector in the days ahead, and may He restore to you a quiet confidence in His care.
We will continue to pray that this attempt comes to nothing, that justice is done, that your finances are protected going forward, and that you will sleep and live without dread, knowing that God watches over you.
