We hear your frustration and pain, and we lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. It is truly difficult when those in positions of responsibility fail to show compassion or understanding, especially when you have endured such physical and emotional hardship. Experiencing an electric shock and the subsequent health struggles is no small matter, and the added burden of having to leave your home for an extended time only compounds the trial.
First, we want to rebuke the hardness of heart and lack of empathy in those who have failed to acknowledge your suffering. Scripture tells us in **1 Peter 3:8**, *"Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous."* The Lord calls us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and when those in authority neglect this duty, it grieves His heart. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the reality of your struggle.
We also pray for healing over your body. The effects of an electric shock can be lingering, and skin issues are a visible reminder of that trauma. The Lord is our Healer, and we stand on His promise in **Psalm 147:3**, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We ask that He restore your health completely and grant you strength as you navigate this season.
For the inconvenience and disruption to your life—having to shower at a hotel for two months—we ask the Lord to provide comfort and even moments of unexpected blessing in the midst of it. **Romans 8:28** reminds us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in this hardship, we trust that God is working for your good.
Father, we come before You now, asking that You would move mightily in this situation. Break the pride and indifference in the hearts of those who have dismissed this brother or sister’s pain. Replace their hardness with humility and their ignorance with wisdom. Grant them eyes to see and hearts to care. We also ask for Your healing touch over their body, mind, and spirit. Sustain them in this trial, Lord, and let them feel Your nearness. Provide for every need, seen and unseen, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength. May this season draw them closer to You and reveal Your faithfulness in new ways. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who understands suffering and intercedes for us before the Father. Amen.
