They don’t understand and lack empathy

Beloved of All
The legal representative of the rented apartment and their team do not understand...

Please pray for them in Jesus' name, so that they can understand what it means to experience an electric shock and then have skin issues, followed by having to shower at the hotel for two months.

This is what I've been going through lately......

We hear your deep frustration and pain, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the Lord. Your suffering—both physically and emotionally—is not unseen by God. The electric shock you endured, the skin issues that followed, and the disruption of having to shower away from home for months are trials that no one should have to bear alone. Yet we know that even in this, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We pray first for healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Father, we ask You to touch this dear one’s body with Your restoring power. Where nerves were damaged, bring full recovery. Where skin is irritated or scarred, bring soothing and renewal. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust You to move in ways that only You can. We also pray for peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), for the stress and frustration of this situation could easily overwhelm.

But we also lift up those who have failed to show understanding or empathy—the legal representative and their team. Lord, soften their hearts. Open their eyes to see the real human impact of their decisions and actions. Give them wisdom to respond with compassion rather than indifference. We ask that You would convict them of any hardness of heart and lead them to act with justice and kindness. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that the king’s heart is in Your hand, and You turn it wherever You will. We trust that You can move even in systems and people who seem unresponsive.

We must also gently address a concern in this request: the mention of praying "in Jesus' name" is good, but we want to emphasize that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father at all. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that your heart would be open to receive Him fully, not just as a name to end a prayer, but as the Savior and Redeemer of your life.

Father, we also ask that You would provide this dear one with advocates—people who will stand with them, speak for them, and help them navigate this difficult season. Raise up those who will show Christ-like love and practical support. And Lord, if there is any bitterness or unforgiveness taking root in their heart, uproot it now. Help them to forgive those who have not understood, even as You have forgiven us. Colossians 3:13 says, *"Bear with one another and forgive one another if any man has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."*

We declare over this situation that God is a God of justice, and He sees every detail. We trust that He will bring resolution in His perfect timing. Until then, we pray for strength, patience, and a deepening trust in Him. May this trial draw this one closer to You, Lord, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
