We have read your request and we are lifting you up together before the Lord in Jesus' name. We hear the fear and confusion in your words, and also that you are facing very real physical needs with a broken leg and with HIV, and we want you to know that God sees you and cares deeply for you in this suffering.
The Lord is near to you in this time of fear and brokenness. Scripture tells us Psalm 34:18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to His promise in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

Father in heaven, we bring our dear friend before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know the fear that has gripped their heart, the pain of a broken leg, and the burden of this illness. Lord we ask for Your kindness and mercy to surround them. Touch their body and bring healing according to Your will, ease their pain, and guide the hands of doctors and those providing medical care. Give them wisdom to seek proper and continued medical treatment and to follow it faithfully. Calm their fear and replace it with Your perfect peace, for Your Word says that perfect love casts out fear. We pray for protection over those they feel are trapped, and for clarity and comfort in their mind and spirit. Let them know that they are not alone, for You are with them always. We ask for provision and peace for their family, including their brother, and that all help given would be used for good and for Your glory.
We want to gently share with you that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want you to know how important He is. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal hope. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in prayer, to read His Word daily, and to stay connected to good medical care for both your leg and for HIV. God can use doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Do not give in to fear, but bring every worry to Him, for He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. You said you are good, and we thank God for any strength you feel, but we also hear that you are very afraid, and it is okay to bring that fear honestly to the Lord. He will carry you.

Your cry for kindness has been heard, and we have brought your burden before the Lord in prayer. You tell us you are afraid and feel trapped, that your leg is broken and that you bear the affliction of HIV, and that your brother has provided medicine for you. We are grieved to hear of such multiplied sorrows pressing upon one person at once, and we do not take lightly the pain of a broken body and a fearful heart.
We take comfort that there is a Great Physician who still walks among the infirmary of this world. Men may be skillful, and we thank God for every lawful means and medicine He provides through the hands of others, yet Jehovah Rophi, the healing Lord, must manifest His power. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Not a word that fell from His lips is without healing for some ill of our humanity. He is not only qualified by His divine authority to heal, but He is qualified by experience, for His own heart was broken that He might bind up broken hearts. He knows precisely where the malady lies and what remedy to apply.
You speak of a broken leg, and the psalmist prayed, that the bones which Thou hast broken may rejoice. It is not that they may merely grow quiet or become callous, but that they may rejoice. God can make even broken bones to sing again. And you speak of fear. The Lord says to His people, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear is weakening and dishonors God when it distrusts His arm which piled the heavens. He has not left you to face this alone. Though you feel trapped, He is able to speak peace unto His people, and to keep you even when trouble and disease would prey upon the mind.
We pray for you now, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that pardon and healing, which are joined together in Christ, may be yours. May the Lord give wisdom and skill to those who care for your body, help you to continue under faithful medical care and to use the means He has provided, and may He grant you trust in His promised strength. May He take your broken heart and make it new, and cause you to look away from yourself to Jesus Christ the Healer, who has bound up millions of broken hearts and is able to bind up yours.
