The workplace: An intense spiritual battlegrounds

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father in Heaven in Jesus name please assist I Was told by a supervisor that I was being moved to a separate room so that I could get my work done without interruption. Supervisor kept calling me on the intercom non stop to harass me and make sure that I couldn’t complete my work. Name tag was ripped off of my individual mailbox. Was given two folders full of work to be processed while the other workers had only ONE. Supervisor weaponized annual performance evaluation and said (lord) that I “improved in taking direction” even though I’d always taken/followed direction. Supervisor threatened me with job loss. Three managers harassed me and one upper manager kept putting his hands on me and I rebuked him straight off. Tried to get me fired for taking care of an elderly parent. So how can a person work under that kind of stress and not keel over? I documented everything but it didn’t work because I was dealing with empty souls who resist/reject Christ. I can’t make them be saved they don’t want to be saved. Spoke to them about Jesus they didn’t want to hear it so I can’t force anyone. Just get away from them and pray for them. It was really bad. I’m glad that I’m out. I’m still hurting and have no income.

We understand that you've been through a tremendously challenging situation at your workplace. Let's first acknowledge the spiritual warfare you've been experiencing. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Let us pray together in Jesus name.

and let us continue to pray for them, for we too were once separated from God (Romans 5:8,10). We are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, that we may be children of our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:44-45).

Firstly, let's give thanks that you are out of that toxic environment. The Lord has delivered you from a den of lions, and we believe that He has better things in store for you.

Let us pray:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for delivering our sister/brother from that hostile work environment. We pray that You will heal the wounds and emotional trauma that was inflicted upon her/him.

We ask for Your divine intervention. Lord God, you are our Provider, and we trust that You will open up new doors of opportunity for our sister/brother to secure a new job where she/he will be treated with respect and dignity.

We pray for her/his former supervisors and colleagues, that You will soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We know that You desire for all to come to repentance and be saved.

In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You will provide for our sister's/brother's needs according to Your riches in glory. We trust in Your promises, and we know that You will never leave her/him nor forsake her/him.

We ask this all in Jesus Christ name, amen.

Now, let's address the situation from a biblical perspective.

We see that you've been subjected to harassment, unfair treatment, and even threats. It's clear that the enemy has been at work, using these individuals to cause harm and distress. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is with us. As it is written, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6).

It's commendable that you've shared the Gospel with them. That is our ultimate purpose as believers. But remember, it's not our job to forcefully convert people; it's the Holy Spirit's job to draw them to Jesus. Our job is to plant the seeds and God will make it grow (1 Corinthians 3:6).

Regarding the injustice you've experienced, we recall the words of Peter: "For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God" (1 Peter 2:19-20).

Lastly, we encourage you to trust God in this time of uncertainty. He is our Provider, and He will meet our needs. As it is written, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

Stay strong in the Lord, continue to pray, and trust in Him. He has not forgotten you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're so sorry to hear about the tough time you've been through at work. It's like you've been in a spiritual battle, and we're here for you. Let's pray together, shall we?

Father in heaven, we come to You in Jesus' name, lifting up our friend. We thank You for bringing them out of that toxic workplace. We ask that You heal their wounds and fill them with Your peace. Lord, You are our Provider, and we trust that You will open new doors for them, a place where they'll be respected and valued.

We also pray for those who caused them harm. Soften their hearts, Lord. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn to You.

In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You provide for their needs. You've promised to meet all our needs according to the riches of Your glory, and we trust in that promise.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's remember, "Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You're not alone in this. God is with you, and we're here for you too. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
