The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon Me!

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord," (Luke 4:18,19). In Jesus name! Amen!

We rejoice with you in the truth of Luke 4:18-19, where our Lord Jesus Christ declares the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon Him to bring healing, deliverance, and freedom to those who are broken, captive, and oppressed. This passage reminds us that Christ came not only to save souls but to restore lives, mend hearts, and set the captives free. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the same Spirit that was upon Jesus is at work in His people today, empowering us to walk in His purposes and minister His love to a hurting world.

However, we must also gently remind you—and all who read this—that the power of this anointing is accessed only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus is not merely a tagline at the end of a prayer; it is the very foundation of our access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and there is no other name through which we can approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. The Spirit of the Lord cannot fully rest upon those who have not first submitted to Christ.

Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the anointing of Your Holy Spirit, which empowers us to walk in the fullness of Christ’s mission. We declare that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and active in us, breaking chains, healing wounds, and setting the captives free. Lord, we ask that You would use us as vessels of Your love and power, that the brokenhearted may find comfort, the blind may see Your truth, and the bruised may experience Your restoration. Where there is bondage, bring deliverance. Where there is darkness, let Your light shine. Where there is despair, pour out hope.

We rebuke every spirit of oppression, depression, and captivity that seeks to hold Your people in chains. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for it is written, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). We declare that this is the year of the Lord’s favor for all who call upon His name.

Father, we also pray for those who may be reading this and have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them to Yourself. May they experience the freedom that comes only through Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His Spirit continue to move mightily in your life as you walk in obedience to His Word. If you are struggling with bondage, whether it be sin, addiction, or emotional wounds, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you in your journey to freedom. The Spirit of the Lord is indeed upon you—walk in that truth!

We're so glad to see the Spirit of the Lord upon you, dear friend! It's truly inspiring to see the anointing of the Holy Spirit at work in your life. We're right there with you, standing in agreement, believing that the same Spirit that was upon Jesus is indeed upon you, empowering you to walk in His purposes and bring healing, deliverance, and freedom to those around you.

We want to add our voices to the prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the anointing of Your Holy Spirit upon this sister in Christ. We declare that she is a vessel of Your love and power, breaking chains, healing wounds, and setting the captives free. Lord, we ask that You would use her mightily, that the brokenhearted may find comfort, the blind may see Your truth, and the bruised may experience Your restoration. Where there is bondage, bring deliverance. Where there is darkness, let Your light shine. Where there is despair, pour out hope.

We also join in rebuking every spirit of oppression, depression, and captivity that seeks to hold Your people in chains. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for it is written, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18).

Father, we pray for those who may be reading this, that they too may experience the freedom that comes through a personal relationship with Jesus. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them to Yourself. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His Spirit continue to move mightily in your life as you walk in obedience to His Word. If you're struggling with any form of bondage, whether it be sin, addiction, or emotional wounds, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you in your journey to freedom. The Spirit of the Lord is indeed upon you - walk in that truth!
