Beloved of All
šŸ™‡šŸ» Jesus, thank You for Your 33 years down here from the Holy Spirit overshadowing Your birth in the manger to the shepherds, magi, temple, Your hidden years, humbling Yourself to get baptized by the prominent historical figure, JOHN THE BAPTIST, followed especially by the action-packed 3+ years of ministry: teachings, miracles, loaves, fish, nets of fish, resurrections, blind eyes, lame walking, poor hearing the gospel -- the prophecies, living in community with the disciples just "doing life" from Your perspective (reality), putting up with our unbelief, the distortions of the Pharisees and Sadducees, their constant watching You, attempts to trap and trick You -- literally, like WOW -- and finally Your betrayal, rejection and letting Barabbas loose instead... All the self-restraint You showed, the suffering, unjustly in my and our stead and sacrificial death on the cross for my and our sins, shame, sickness... Your burial, resurrection, appearing and teaching for 40 days, ascension, and sending forth The Holy Spirit, our counselor, advocate, intercessor, and bearer of good gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-8.

Thank You Your sheep hear Your voice, John 10:27, and will never follow a stranger, John 10:5. We NEED to hear Your voice of direction -- It is written, "as many as are LED by the HOLY SPIRIT are the children of God," Rom 8:14. We ask to be FILLED with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom so we can walk worthy, Col 1:9-10. We ask for generous amounts of practical WISDOM, James 1:5, we cry out for wisdom and lift our voice for UNDERSTANDING, Prov 2:6-7. So with confidence we seek YOU for YOU are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You, Heb 11:6. With thanksgiving we offer our requests for Your voice, leading and wisdom -- let "now" the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. Thank You for protecting us and praying for us, keeping us from the evil one, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, Jn 17:15. We shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, Isa 55:12, thank You for everything, especially for hearing when we ask, for in hearing, we have, 1 John 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We join you in this beautiful and comprehensive thanksgiving for our Lord Jesus Christ and His perfect work, and we agree with you in prayer for the Shepherd's voice, the leading of the Holy Spirit, wisdom and the peace of God.

We love how you have traced the whole arc of His humility and glory, from the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit and His birth in the manger, through His hidden years, His baptism by John the Baptist, His three years of ministry with teachings and miracles, His patience with unbelief and the traps of the Pharisees and Sadducees, to His betrayal, His suffering in our place, His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins, His burial, resurrection, forty days of appearing and teaching, His ascension, and His sending of the Holy Spirit who is our Counselor and Advocate. What a Savior we have, who as it is written, humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross, Phil 2:8, and who now lives to intercede for us, Rom 8:34 and Heb 7:25.

We agree together for a fresh hearing of His voice. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27, and again, a stranger they will not follow, John 10:5. We pray that we would indeed be among those who are led by the Spirit of God, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Rom 8:14. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, John 16:13, and He speaks in harmony with the written Word, never contrary to it, so we test what we hear by Scripture and by the character of Christ.

We ask with you to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, Col 1:9-10. We ask boldly for wisdom, for it is written, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5, and again, For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding, Prov 2:6. We come with faith, knowing that without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him, Heb 11:6.

We lift our requests with thanksgiving, trusting His promise that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. That peace is not merely a feeling but a guard, a garrison around our hearts as we wait for His direction.

So we pray together now. Father, in Jesus' name we thank You for Your Son and for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. We thank You that You hear us when we ask according to Your will, and that if we know that You listen to us, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of You, 1 John 5:14-15. Fill us anew with the knowledge of Your will. Grant us generous wisdom for every decision before us, practical understanding for daily life, and clarity to know Your voice above every other voice and the noise of the world. Lead us forth with peace, for You have said, For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace, Isa 55:12. Keep us from the evil one as Jesus prayed, John 17:15, and let Your peace guard our hearts and minds as we follow the Shepherd wherever He leads. We ask all this with thanksgiving, trusting You to answer, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. The thankfulness you carry for Jesus, from the manger through His hidden years, His ministry among people, His suffering and resurrection, and His sending the Holy Spirit to stay with us, comes through so clearly. And we hear how deeply you want to walk closely with Him and be led well in everyday life.

That desire to hear the Shepherd's voice is itself a sign of belonging to Him. We have found that learning His leading is less about chasing a dramatic moment and more about a steady relationship. The Holy Spirit comes as our Counselor and Helper, teaching us truth, empowering us gently, and forming Christlike character in us over time. Power, truth and love belong together, and when they are in balance there is a quiet steadiness that helps us recognize His nudges.

A practice that helps many is simply making unhurried space to listen. A few minutes of quiet prayer and Scripture before the day fills up, bringing one decision or question at a time and asking for wisdom, then resting and noticing the peace and clarity that follows, can train our hearts to follow His leading.

Father, thank You for being near and for giving us Your Spirit to guide us. We ask You to fill our friend with wisdom and peace today, to make Your will clear step by step, and to guard their heart as they follow You. Keep them close to Jesus and lead them in Your joy. In Jesus' name, Amen.

It is a right and blessed thing to desire to hear the Shepherd's voice and to be led by the Holy Spirit, and your prayer is according to the will of God. Our Lord Jesus has said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. This hearing is no strange or uncertain thing, for it comes by hearing the Word of God with heed and with faith.

Remember that the infinite God has thoughts of peace toward you, and not of evil. He is at peace with you through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, and He seeks your peace, creates your peace and sustains your peace. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace is not the absence of trial, but a perfect peace kept for him whose mind is stayed upon the Lord because he trusts in Him. When duties press and sorrows surge around, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and the peace of God shall guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

You have asked well for wisdom, for if any lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives liberally. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Seek it then in His Word, for His law comprises His precepts and His promises, and in keeping them there is great peace. Put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul. Faith comes by hearing, and it is while you are attentively and earnestly hearing the Gospel that you are led to believe it and to walk worthy of the Lord, filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

May the Lord grant you that heedful hearing, that your will may be brought to delight in His will, for when the will delights in God's will the fangs of the serpent are extracted and the sorrow is taken from the sorrow. May He keep you stayed upon Christ, rejoicing in His Word as one that finds great spoil, and lead you forth with joy and with peace, keeping you from the evil one, for He ever lives to make intercession for you.

We join our prayers with yours, that you may be filled with spiritual wisdom, that you may clearly know His leading, and that the peace which passes all understanding may rule in your heart. May you go out with joy and be led forth with peace, trusting not in your own understanding but in the faithful Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep, died, was buried, rose again, and now has sent His Spirit to be your counselor and comforter, until you hear His voice face to face. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is beautiful in its thankfulness, and I join you in giving thanks for all you have named, from the manger to the cross, from the resurrection to the sending of the Holy Spirit who counsels and helps us.

It is right that you long to hear the Shepherd's voice. As you quoted, His sheep hear His voice and will not follow a stranger. That voice comes to us not as a vague feeling but through His Word and teaching, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. To hear Him is to stand and listen as a servant, with joy, and to follow where He leads. Keep close to the Scriptures, where Christ speaks, and you will learn to distinguish His voice from all others.

You also ask to be filled with the knowledge of His will and for wisdom, and God delights to give it. Remember that there is a wisdom of this world which seems wise for a time but comes to nothing, and there is the wisdom of God, hidden to the world but revealed to His children. The world trusts in itself and so its wisdom becomes foolishness, but when we ask humbly, God gives generously to those who diligently seek Him. Continue to cry out for understanding as you are doing, and ask not only to know but to walk in a way worthy of Him.

And you ask for the peace of God to guard your hearts. That peace is not the peace that comes from getting our own way or from avoiding struggle. Christ Himself said He came to bring a sword where truth divides from error, so we should not be surprised when following Him costs us. Yet the peace of God is fixed and steadfast. When two thoughts wrestle within you, one urging revenge or anxiety and the other urging trust and endurance, let the peace of God act as umpire in your heart. If your peace rests on God who made peace with us through Christ, it will not be shaken.

So I pray with you that the Holy Spirit will lead you as a child of God, that you will be filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding, and that the peace of Christ will rule in your heart and mind. May He keep you from the evil one, as He intercedes for you, and lead you out with joy and with peace as you continue to seek Him.

Thank you for sharing this prayer so rich with Scripture and thanksgiving for the life and work of Jesus. Your desire to hear the Shepherd's voice and to walk in His wisdom and peace is exactly what God delights to answer.

The Scriptures teach that wisdom is not hidden or hard to find. She cries out openly in the streets and at the gates, calling to all people. That is because true wisdom is not merely an idea but is found in a Person. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and when wisdom speaks it is the Lord Himself speaking to us. To seek wisdom is to seek Him.

You asked so well for wisdom and understanding. The Bible says wisdom is the principal thing, more precious than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare to it. Knowledge may give us facts, but wisdom gives us the ability to use what we know rightly. Its ways are pleasantness and all its paths are peace. In her right hand is length of days and in her left hand are riches and honor, and above all she gives life to those who find her. She is a defense and a guard for our lives. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a humble reverence that hates evil and bows to Him. From that starting place He promises to give generously when we ask, as James 1:5 says, without reproach.

There is a great difference between the wisdom of this world and the wisdom that comes from above. The wisdom of the world, even at its best, could not find God and it leads to strife and inner turmoil. God has made that wisdom foolish. But the wisdom from above is first peaceable. It brings us into peace with God. Though our sins were as scarlet, He has made a way for us to be white as snow through the blood of Jesus. That is the peace treaty God offers to those who were at war with Him. We cannot know the peace of God until we have first received the grace of God. Grace must come first, and then peace follows. Once we have peace with God, we can know the peace of God that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, the perfect peace promised to those whose minds are stayed on Him, a peace that passes all understanding.

Your prayer reflects that order. You are asking to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom, to be led by the Holy Spirit as children of God, and to have His peace guard you as you go forward. God rewards those who diligently seek Him, and He delights to pour out His Spirit of wisdom and understanding on those who ask with thanksgiving. The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace, and those who sow in peace will reap that fruit.

May the Lord answer your request according to His promise. May He fill you with spiritual wisdom and understanding so you may walk worthy of Him, may you clearly hear the Shepherd's voice and not follow a stranger, and may you be led forth with joy and peace as you keep your mind stayed on Him.
