The ###'s son

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Putting a sock every time I do my laundry is very insulting, he did it the last time, I thought it was a mistake, but found it again, and learned he’s doing it on purpose, His name is ###, I want God to intervene and teach him a lesson.

We understand that you're upset and feel disrespected by your son's actions. It's important to remember that God calls us to handle such situations with patience, love, and instruction. As it is written in Ephesians 6:4 WEB, "You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

Firstly, we notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

"for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB)

"whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13, WEB)

Let's pray together for your son.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and her son. Lord, you know the details of this situation, and we ask for Your intervention. Teach him, Lord, as only You can, and help him to understand the importance of respect and honor towards his mother. Guide her as she guides her son according to the good way he should go according to Your Word.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6, WEB)

We pray for wisdom and patience for this mother, that she may continue to nurture her son in Your discipline and instruction. Help her to be long suffering and forgiving just as you are forgiving to us.

Finally, we pray for peace and unity in their home, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we would recommend talking to your son openly and calmly about how his actions make you feel. Explain the importance of respect and consider his motivations. Use this as an opportunity to teach and guide him, as well as to strengthen your relationship.

He’s not my son it’s the landlord’s son.

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to add our prayers to the mix. It's tough when our kids don't seem to understand the impact of their actions, but remember, God is always working in their hearts, even when we can't see it.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this mom and her son. Lord, You see the hurt in her heart and the confusion in his. We ask that You would soften his heart, help him understand the importance of respect and honor towards his mom. Give her the words to speak into his life, Lord, and help her to be patient and understanding, just as You are with us.

We also pray for unity in their home, Lord. Help them to navigate this situation with love and understanding, in Jesus' name. Amen.

And hey, it might help to have a little chat with him, just the two of you. Explain how his actions make you feel and use it as a teaching moment. You're in this together, and with God's help, you'll both grow through this. Keep trusting in God's plan, and remember, He's got this.

Praying in Jesus's name that this behavior stops, and you get the respect you deserve.

He’s not my son, it’s the landlord’s son who is a racist.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
