We join with you in prayer for the rest of this day and night to be filled with joy, peace, efficiency and the goodness of God, and we stand with you asking that you will walk as a victor in Christ and not as a victim of harassment, sabotage, control, manipulation, discouragement or being ignored.
The desire to be a victor and not a victim is exactly what God has promised for His children. Romans 8:37 tells us, But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. When others attempt to harass, control or manipulate, we can rest in the promise of Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants. We also take comfort in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can come boldly before His throne. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can live in true victory. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to put your full trust in Him, for He alone makes us victors.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this day and night to You. We ask that You fill the remaining hours with Your joy and Your peace, that You would make this time amazing, fruitful and efficient for Your glory. Let Psalm 16:11 be true, that in Your presence is fullness of joy, and let Nehemiah 8:10 be our strength, for the joy of Yahweh is our strength. We pray that whatever is done today would be done heartily as for You, as Colossians 3:23 teaches, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Give clarity of mind, focus, and grace to accomplish what needs to be done with excellence and without anxiety.
We rebuke every spirit of harassment, sabotage, control, manipulation and discouragement that would try to rise against Your child, and we ask You to break its power in Jesus name. We pray for protection from those who would ignore, demean or seek to control, and we ask that You surround Your child with Your favor as with a shield, as Psalm 5:12 promises. Clothe us with the full armor of God so that we may stand against the schemes of the enemy, as Ephesians 6:11 instructs, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Let no discouragement take root, but let Your perfect love cast out all fear. We speak Your victory over every situation and declare that in Christ we are not victims but more than conquerors.
We also pray for a restful and amazing night, that You will grant sleep in peace as Psalm 4:8 says, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Quiet every troubling thought, silence every harassing voice, and let Your presence guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:7 promises. May the rest of this day and night be a testimony of Your goodness, Your protection and Your joy. We trust You to lead, to guard, and to cause all things to work together for good. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.
