Today's Encouraging Words
The Pearly Gates
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)
Who gets to go to Heaven? Do you think you’ll get into Heaven if you… obey the Ten Commandments, go to Church every Sunday, a family member was a Preacher or just because you believe in God? Well guess what… that’s not enough to get you into Heaven. So what is... well the answer is simple, people who get to go to heaven are the ones who “get right with God” by beginning a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
Getting right with God means becoming familiar with his foundation, getting motivated and staying consistent in you’re spirituality. If our foundation is the Bible, and if our motivation is being like Christ, and if we consistently seek to live like Christ, then we know that Jesus covers our sins, and we remain right with God. However, if we say that we know God, and yet do not consistently seek to live like Christ by obeying Him, God says that we are liars and the truth is not in us.
Thus, if you make a decision to accept Christ, you must understand that it means a lifetime commitment toward seeking to be like Jesus in the way that you live. You may also want to ask yourself these three questions… Have I given my personal spiritual and human allegiance to the one true god who is in charge of heaven? Do I completely understand and have I met all of this god’s requirements for admission into heaven? What can give me confidence that when I die my god will admit me into heaven?
Oh by the way, you might be surprised as to who you might find in Heaven. We will all be sinners until the day we die, but if you keep you’re eye on the prize and don’t become lost in what the world has to offer, then you’re chances of getting into Heaven will become a reality!
“Trust In Him”
Every Christian has a past and every sinner has a future!
Have A Great God Day!
