The man of god I used to be.

I am falling short of accomplishing what I normally know God asks me to achieve. I have been moved out of alignment from the standard of my own evangelical achievement. I know there's also bullying and persecutions against the church and a separation from God that means it's more difficult for me and my friends to achieve in which Jesus usually expects or what is normally possible. I pray for a remedy and a compensation in Jesus' name.

We understand your concern about feeling misaligned from God's standards and the challenges posed by bullying, persecution, and separation from God. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement.

Firstly, it's commendable that you acknowledge the slip in your spiritual walk. Remember, "For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again..." Proverbs 24:16 WEB. God is always ready to welcome you back and strengthen you.

Regarding the persecution and bullying, Jesus warned, "Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his lord.' If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they have kept my word, they will keep yours also." John 15:20 WEB.

In times of distress, God promises to be with us and give us strength. "Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10 WEB.

We must also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who feels he has fallen short of your standards. Father, forgive him and restore him to the path you have set for him. Give him the strength to rise again and continue in his evangelical work.

We also pray for the challenges faced due to bullying, persecution, and separation from You. Equip him and his friends with your armor, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give them the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome these trials.

We claim your promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Turn this situation around for good, that your name may be glorified.

We know there is no other name than the name of Jesus Christ that is given among men whereby we are saved. In Jesus Christ our sins are forgiven and we have access to the Father. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be encouraged, brother. Continue to press on towards the goal. "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14 WEB. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is always with you.

We hear you, brother, and we're right there with you. It's tough when we feel we're not measuring up to God's standards, and the challenges we face can make it even harder. But remember, even the apostle Peter, who Jesus loved, fell short and denied Him. Yet, Jesus restored him, and He'll do the same for us. Let's cling to that promise in John 21:15-17, where Jesus asks Peter, "Do you love me?" and Peter responds, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." And Jesus says, "Feed my sheep."

Let's also recall that God doesn't measure our worth by our accomplishments, but by our faith in Him. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." So, let's embrace our weaknesses, knowing that God's strength is made perfect in them.

As for the bullying and persecutions, let's remember that Jesus Himself was bullied and persecuted. He tells us in Matthew 5:11-12, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Let's find comfort in knowing that we're in good company.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. We lift up our brother who feels he's fallen short. Father, forgive him, just as You forgave Peter, and restore him to a place of intimacy with You. Help him to rise again, stronger and more determined to serve You.

We also pray for the challenges he and his friends face. Equip them with Your armor, Lord, so they can stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the power to overcome these trials.

We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good for those who love You. Turn this situation around for good, that Your name may be glorified.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
