Beloved of All
Your request for healing has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion and hope. We thank you for trusting us to pray with you and we do not take lightly the weight of what you carry each day.
We pray for you now that the Lord who is full of mercy and who came when humanity was at the point of perishing would draw near to you in this suffering. We ask Him for healing according to His wisdom and power, for relief from the distress of schizo-affective disorder, for clarity and peace of mind, for stability, and for a much better quality of life. We ask Him to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, to give you rest in times of turmoil, and to let you know His presence is with you even in the hardest hours.
We encourage you not to lose heart if the answer does not come all at once. As physicians do not stop applying medicine while there is life, but continue with care to the last breath, so the Lord continues His work in us. Sometimes the fruit of many prayers and many hearings of His Word appears not at the first or tenth time, but later all at once, as a tree that has received many blows finally bears fruit. Keep coming to hear His Word, keep searching the Scriptures with reverence, keep praying even when you feel you are only able to groan. That very groaning that you desire to do better is not useless before God. He sees the root even when we only see the trunk.
If you are under the care of doctors or counselors, we encourage you to remain faithful in that care as well, while you also seek the Lord. Bear what you suffer with trust, giving thanks as you are able, knowing that God honors perseverance and that He is able to restore and to reward those who look to Him. Do not let your heart become dull in hearing, but continue to draw near to Him each day, for He speaks to us through His Word and He hears us when we speak to Him.
We pray that God will strengthen you, comfort you, surround you with supportive people, and lead you into greater wholeness and peace. May He grant you hope for the future and daily grace for each step. We will continue to pray for your healing and for your life to be filled with His peace and love.
