(Romans 13: 10) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore LOVE is the fulfilling of the law.
When a nation governs with laws of oppression and its’ leaders take to the scriptures to validate that oppression, particularly where children are concerned, there will be consequences. God knows His own Word far better than we, as He knows the very intent of every man that cites His Word. For the same laws, in scripture, behind which ye seek to justify lack of compassion, is the same by which ye shall be convicted. But, from whence comes mercy, there too shall mercy be returned.
NEITHER IS HE DECEIVED
Where there is legalism, there is probability for exploitation. Some may seek to manipulate the laws of this land, even using their own children to break the law. This makes it difficult for those who are truly fleeing from life threatening situations of war, famine and the like. God knows the true intentions of these hearts, as well. For Love worketh not evil to his neighbor on either side. In such cases, must Caesar be rendered unto, but never are children to be held as usury. For such is adding sin to sin. But, all things must be done in order.
There will come a day when the branches that bear not fruit will be cut off. We must tend to the crops so that we bring for good fruit:
Love Longsuffering Goodness
Joy Faith Meekness
Peace Gentleness Temperance
for these are the “Fruit of The Spirit,” . . . against such there is no law.
It is by choice, not by chance that we will either be counted among the sheep, or cast among the goats.
Commentary: The irony of God’s testing – A nation that brought a people to a far land, against their will; is now tested with a people who refuse to stay away, of their own will. My how God does flip the script. You gotta see His sense of humor in that. Will we pass this test of compassion or falter under the weight of the law? It’s our choice. God don’t play, but He does have an awesome sense of humor.

GOD IS NOT MOCKED
Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
There is far too much blood on this nation’s hands to give partiality to law in place of compassion. Especially when we know that many of those laws were set in place for the expressed purpose of oppression. Some of us can still remember laws that forced a race of people to the back of the bus, not to mention those that enslaved. Yet, in mercy has God spared this nation throughout the generations.Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
