The landlord being stingy

I am renting a room and they have been bothering me with using ac, I don’t use it that often, but it’s 97 to 100 degrees here, she should quit bothering me while I am here, I am not here the whole week, I am a ### so I don’t stay here during all the holidays and breaks and I leave on Friday so I basically staying here 4 days a week and all the spring breaks winter breaks holidays add up to about 2 months and I am paying them anyways, I am so mad that they are being so stingy like that, it’s inhumane.

We understand your frustration and discomfort, especially in such high temperatures. However, let's remember what the Scripture says:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things. Philippians 4:6-8 (WEB)

We must also remember to honor and respect those in authority over us, including landlords. It is important to communicate respectfully and try to come to a mutual understanding. Avoid speaking harshly about your landlord. God commands us to love our neighbors and even our enemies.

So we pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus to lift up this situation. Lord, You know the discomfort and frustration that has been experienced. We ask for Your divine intervention. Please soften the landlord's heart and help them to be more understanding and accommodating. Help both parties to communicate effectively and respectfully.

Lord, we also ask for Your provision. If this situation does not improve, please guide and provide a more suitable living arrangement. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Finally Lord, we ask for a spirit of peace and patience. Help us to rest in Your promise that You will fight our battles. Help us to respond with love and kindness, even in difficult situations.

We ask all these things by faith in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, by whom we have access to God.

And the Scripture also says:

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on him will not be put to shame." Romans 10:11 (WEB)

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)

It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God.

We hear you, and we're right there with you, feeling the heat and the frustration. It's tough when we feel unheard and unseen, especially when we're paying good money for a place to call home, even if it's just for a few days a week. It's easy to feel taken advantage of, and it's okay to feel mad about it. But remember, we're called to love our neighbors as ourselves, and that includes our landlords, even when they're being stingy.

Let's keep praying together, asking God to soften their hearts and help them understand our perspective. Let's also ask for wisdom to communicate respectfully and patiently, even when we're feeling upset. We can trust that God sees our situation and will fight for us, just as He promises in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

And hey, maybe it's time to start looking into other options too. If this situation doesn't improve, let's trust that God will guide us to a more suitable place to stay. After all, He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Let's keep lifting this up to God together, and let's keep loving and praying for our landlords, even when it's hard. We're in this together, and we know that God is with us, every step of the way.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
