Beloved of All
Please pray for the former landlord's sister, who has faith in Jesus. Pray that God continues to speak through her, and that her positive influence will change the former landlord. Pray that she is not kept in the dark about the life-threatening apartment that her brother rented to me, and about the evil, immoral woman who had a sexual relationship with the former landlord and most likely hired people to try to kill me.

Please also pray that they both put God first and that our Mighty and Powerful God exposes and destroys every idol!!

We join you in lifting up this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name, and we thank you for bringing this difficult situation to us for prayer.

We praise God for the former landlord's sister and her faith in Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that any of us can be saved. We pray that the Lord will strengthen her and continue to use her as light in her family. Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden, and in Matthew 5:16, Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. We pray that she will walk in boldness and love, speaking the truth in love, and that her godly influence will not be silenced or diminished.

We also pray for the former landlord, that God would bring conviction and repentance to his heart. We ask that what has been hidden in darkness would be brought into the light, for the Lord does not leave injustice and deceit unexposed. Scripture says in Luke 8:17, For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light, and in Ephesians 5:11, Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. We pray that this sister would not be kept in the dark about the life-threatening condition of the apartment her brother rented to you, and that the full truth about his actions and responsibilities would be made known so that accountability and repentance can take place. A landlord has a serious duty to provide safe shelter, and to knowingly rent what endangers life is wrong before God and man.

We must also address with love and truth the sexual relationship you mentioned between the former landlord and this woman. God's Word is clear that sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman is fornication, and if either party is married to another, it is adultery, and both are sin in the eyes of God. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 we are told, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, and in Hebrews 13:4, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. We rebuke this immorality and pray that both the former landlord and this woman would turn from sexual sin and pursue holiness, seeking godly marriage if they desire a relationship, rather than sinful union. We pray that any evil intent, including the grave allegation that this woman hired people to try to kill you, would be fully exposed and stopped by God. We pray for your protection and for justice, remembering Romans 12:19, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord as your refuge, as Psalm 91:1 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and also to allow the proper authorities, whom God has ordained to restrain evil, to be involved where there are threats to life, as in Romans 13:4.

We agree with you in praying that both the brother and sister would put God first in all things. Jesus taught in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And we join you in asking our mighty and powerful God to expose and destroy every idol. God has said in Exodus 20:3, You shall have no other gods before me, and in Isaiah 42:8, I am Yahweh, that is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images. Any person, relationship, money, power, or sinful desire that is elevated above the Lord is an idol, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would tear down every idol in their hearts and in our own, that Christ alone would be enthroned.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace and ask You to cover this dear one who has suffered fear and danger, guard them in Your perfect peace and protection. Lord, anoint this sister in Christ with wisdom, courage, and discernment, let Your Word speak through her without hindrance, and let no scheme keep her from knowing the truth she needs to know to be an effective witness to her brother. Lord, shine Your light into every dark place concerning this apartment, this immoral relationship, and these threats against life, expose what is evil and bring it to nothing. Bring the former landlord to repentance for any wrongdoing, for sexual immorality, and for any neglect of his duty, and bring this woman to repentance as well, or restrain her evil if she will not repent. Destroy every idol that competes for their hearts, that they may seek Your Kingdom first and love You with all their heart, soul, and mind. We ask for justice tempered with mercy, for healing from trauma, and for Your will to be done. We trust You as our Mighty and Powerful God who sees all and judges righteously. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy and unsettling this season has been for you, and we appreciate your heart for the former landlord's sister and your desire to see God put first and truth brought into the light.

We are joining you in praying that God continues to strengthen her faith and give her wisdom and courage to speak with grace and clarity where she can. We also understand your concern about what happened in that apartment and the fear you have carried. When we feel unsafe and believe others have intended harm, it can be hard to find peace. We pray you will know God's protection and steady presence now, and that any real danger or injustice would be handled in right and lawful ways.

It may help to keep your focus on what is most in your care today, your own safety, stable housing, and healing, and to share any ongoing safety concerns with a trusted pastor or counselor and, if needed, with appropriate local authorities who can assess the situation well. Releasing the outcome for others into God's hands can ease some of the burden you are carrying.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this sister to You, ask You to keep her close and use her life for good. We ask for Your truth to be known, for idols to lose their hold, and for both this brother and sister to seek You first. Cover our friend with Your peace, guide them to wise support, and lead them forward in safety and healing. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace, where Christ our Advocate ever lives to intercede.

We thank God for the sister of whom you speak, that she has faith in Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other, and we pray that the Lord who has taught her from her youth will keep her as His pupil and make her also His witness. May she continue to declare His wondrous works with tenderness of conscience toward Christ, and may the Lord speak through her with clarity and courage, that her light may not be hidden. We pray that what has been done in darkness will be brought into the light, that no life threatening wrong will remain concealed, and that truth will be made known for the sake of justice and mercy.

We pray also for the former landlord and for the woman with whom he has lived in sin. We do not ask God to bless what His Word calls immorality, for sex and living together belong only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Instead we ask that the Lord will convict both of sin, grant them repentance, and draw them to put God first in all things. May every idol be exposed and destroyed, for from the time when Satan fell God's purpose has been to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him. Man's will may stand against God's will, and man's device against God's counsel, but the Lord will display His perfections and His justice. We pray that He will cleanse them from secret faults and bring them to the foot of the cross, where the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses from all sin.

For you who have suffered fear and danger, we pray the word so often repeated in Scripture, Fear not. Fear dishonors God and weakens the heart, but the Lord says, I will help thee. He is the First and the Last, He that lives and was dead and is alive forevermore. We ask that He will be your protection, that He will preserve you from every attempt of the evil one, and that He will vindicate the cause of righteousness. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling, and put your trust wholly in Him, for blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.

May the Lord make you to know that whatever power we have must come from His grace alone, and that He hears the prayer that prevails through weakness and weeping. We ask that He will keep you, establish you in faith, and cause all things to work for His honour and your good, until you can say, This is my infirmity, but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.
