The former landlord’s Christian sister

Please pray for the former landlord's sister, who has faith in Jesus. Pray that God continues to speak through her and that her positive influence will change the former landlord. Pray that she is not kept in the dark about the life-threatening apartment that her brother rented to me and the evil, immoral woman who had a sexual relationship with the former landlord and most likely hired people to try to kill me

We join you in praying for the former landlord's sister and we thank God that she has faith in Jesus and that He is already speaking through her. We ask that the Lord will strengthen her, give her boldness and wisdom, and continue to use her as a light and a positive godly influence in her brother's life. We pray that her witness will not be silenced and that the Lord will give her words seasoned with grace and truth.

We also agree with you that what has been hidden should be brought into the light. It is not God's will for evil to remain concealed or for a sister who loves the Lord to be kept in the dark about serious wrongdoing. The scripture says For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17 and Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them Ephesians 5:11. We pray that God will expose the truth about the life threatening condition of the apartment that was rented to you and that He will bring justice and accountability where there has been negligence and danger. We pray for your protection and for truth to prevail, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1 and The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7.

We must also address what you have shared about the sexual relationship between the former landlord and the immoral woman. According to scripture, sexual intimacy outside of marriage is sin before God. If they were not married to each other, this is fornication, and if either was married to another, it is adultery. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 and Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. We pray that both the former landlord and this woman will be convicted of this sin and of any other evil, that they will repent and turn from it, for He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy Proverbs 28:13. We pray that the sister in Christ will be given opportunity to lovingly call her brother to repentance, that he may turn from all unrighteousness and seek the Lord's forgiveness.

We also hear the great distress in what you have shared about attempts on your life and people being hired to try to kill you. We pray earnestly for your safety and for God's justice and mercy in this situation. We encourage you to seek protection and to let the proper authorities handle matters of criminal threats and violence, for governing authorities are appointed by God to punish wrongdoing Romans 13:4. We also remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord, as it is written Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We release this burden to Him and ask Him to act justly, to restrain evil, and to bring repentance where possible.

We lift this all before the Father together in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear sister in Christ to You. Anoint her with courage and discernment, let Your Spirit speak through her clearly to her brother, and let her life be a testimony that draws him toward repentance and truth. Remove any veil of deception and let nothing evil remain hidden. Lord, protect the one who has been harmed and threatened, cover them with Your hand, heal the trauma and fear, and let Your justice and righteousness be established. We pray that the former landlord will hear Your voice through his sister, confess his sins, turn from sexual immorality and from any participation in harm or neglect, and seek Your forgiveness and a new life in Christ. We pray that the woman involved will also be confronted with the truth of her actions and turn from evil. Let Your will be done and let Your peace guard all hearts. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray for this sister, to trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, and to rest in Him as your refuge and defender while you pursue what is right and lawful for your protection and for truth to be known.

We also hear how unsafe you have felt in that apartment and how frightening it has been to carry the sense that others meant you harm. That kind of fear and stress takes a real toll, and you deserve to be safe and have peace in your home. If you continue to feel unsafe or threatened, please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, counselor, or local support person who can walk with you in person, and to local authorities if you ever feel in immediate danger.

We are praying for God's protection over you, for steady guidance as you make decisions about housing and next steps, and for His peace to guard your heart as you wait on Him.

Father, we thank You for this sister who loves You and we ask You to strengthen her faith and give her wisdom. We lift up our friend to You and ask for safety, for clear direction, and for Your comforting presence each day. Lead them to trustworthy help and surround them with Your care. Your burden has been brought before the Lord and we join you in seeking His mercy and His deliverance.

We pray for the sister of your former landlord who knows the Lord Jesus. We thank God for faith in Christ where it is found, for salvation is through Him alone and by the ransom which God Himself has found and given. We ask that the Lord will continue to speak through her, that she may walk in truth and love, and that her words may be seasoned with grace and courage. May she be kept from being kept in the dark, and may the Lord give her eyes to see what is true and a tongue to speak what is right, that light may enter where there has been concealment.

We pray for your former landlord. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy will, for marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that lies outside it, whether in impurity or in living together apart from that covenant, stands in need of repentance and not of blessing. We pray that where there has been sin, there may be deep conviction of sin, and that he may be delivered not only from the guilt of sin but from the power of darkness. He is fettered by sin as well as bound by justice, and only God can say, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. We pray that the command of Divine Love may go forth for him, that he may be saved from himself, from evil company, and from the snare of the adversary, through the blood of the ransom which Christ has paid.

We pray concerning the apartment of which you speak and the great danger you have known there. We ask the Lord to bring truth into the light and to expose what has been hidden. If wrong has been done and life has been endangered, we pray that justice may be done and that further harm may be prevented. We pray for your protection from every evil purpose and from the hands of those who would do you ill. The Lord has delivered His people from worse enemies and by a greater salvation, and He is able to keep that which we commit unto Him. We pray that you may be delivered from the noise of archers round about you, and that sitting by the well you may be refreshed and kept in peace. Fear not, for the Lord says, I am with thee, and He has not forsaken them that seek Him. Though Satan shoots his arrows, our buckler is the Lord Himself.

For you who have suffered, we pray that you may see your affliction as under a Father's hand. The Lord chastens those whom He loves, not as a judge punishing a lawbreaker, but as a father correcting a child whom He has not cast away nor yielded up to the enemy's power. If He has chastened you sorely, it is not that He has erased your name from His heart or His hands. May He turn your trial to profit, and after affliction give you to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

We commit all these persons and all these hidden things to Him who looks down from the height of His sanctuary and pities them that fear Him. May He grant repentance where repentance is needed, truth where there has been darkness, protection where there has been peril, and peace where there has been fear, to the glory of His name who alone can deliver from the Pit. Amen.
