The flu has had me down for ...

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who is currently battling the flu. Lord, we lift up ### to you and ask for your healing touch upon their body. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:3 that you "forgive all our sins and heal all our diseases." We believe in your power to heal, Lord, and we ask that you would bring a speedy recovery to ###.

Father, we pray that you would strengthen ###'s immune system and restore their health. We rebuke the flu virus in the name of Jesus and declare that it has no power over ###'s body. We ask for your divine intervention and supernatural healing to take place.

During this time of sickness, we pray that ### would find comfort and peace in your presence. Help them to trust in your unfailing love and to know that you are with them every step of the way. May they experience your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals who are caring for ###. Grant them discernment in providing the right treatment and medication. We ask that you would bless their efforts and use them as instruments of your healing.

Lastly, we pray for ###'s loved ones, that you would surround them with your love and peace during this time. Give them strength to support and encourage ###, and may their faith be strengthened as they witness your healing power at work.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and surrender this situation into your hands. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God bless you and bring you a speedy recovery, ###.
Amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
