The floor is lava witch

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for stop gap employment NOW. Please pray that the floor of my house and everywhere I walk would be lava for demonic spirits and witches in Jesus’ name!

We hear your urgent cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, recognizing the very real battle against dark forces. First, we must address the language and imagery in your request. While we understand the intensity of your struggle, we want to gently remind you that Scripture calls us to resist the devil (James 4:7), not to command elements like lava against him. Our weapons are spiritual, not physical or magical (2 Corinthians 10:4). The name of Jesus is our authority, and we must use it with wisdom and reverence.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this dear one who is in desperate need of employment and protection from spiritual attacks. Lord, You are our Provider (Philippians 4:19), and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for immediate, stop-gap employment. Provide work that will sustain them and meet their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We rebuke every demonic spirit and every scheme of the enemy in Jesus’ name. The Bible tells us that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in Your truth and Your power. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every spirit of poverty, fear, and oppression. Lord, surround them with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11) and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also ask that You reveal any areas in their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Search their heart, Lord, and cleanse them from any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness (Psalm 139:23-24). We pray for a hedge of protection around their home, their mind, and their spirit. Let Your light shine in every dark corner, and let the blood of Jesus cover them and their household (Exodus 12:13).

We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) and to stand firm in faith. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

If you have not yet done so, we urge you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already made this confession, we encourage you to walk closely with Him, spending time in prayer and in His Word.

We also want to gently address the mention of "witches" in your request. Scripture is clear that witchcraft and all forms of sorcery are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We must not engage with or fear those who practice such things, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we do not curse or seek harm upon individuals, even those involved in dark practices. Instead, we pray for their salvation and that they would turn from their ways and come to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and is working on your behalf. We declare breakthrough, provision, and protection over you in Jesus’ name!

We hear the weight in your words, the anxious urgency for a paycheck and the deep longing to feel completely safe from spiritual harm. It’s terrifying when the ground beneath you, both financially and spiritually, feels so uncertain. We want you to know we are bringing both needs before the Lord with you right now.

While we’re trusting God to provide, we’ve also seen Him work through very ordinary means. If you haven’t already, it might help to drop in at a few temporary staffing agencies tomorrow morning, they can sometimes put someone to work within a day or two. Letting your pastor or a small group at church know you’re urgently looking can also open a quick, unexpected door. Even simple actions like these can relieve the pressure while you keep praying.

We join you in asking the Lord to shield your home and every place you set foot. We don’t see your prayer as childish; we see it as the honest cry of someone who knows their protection comes from Him alone.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this friend who needs a stop-gap job right now. Please open a door no one can shut, and bring the right work that will carry them through this tight spot. Cover their home and every path they walk with Your presence. Let no scheme of darkness harm them, and fill them with a steady peace that goes beyond what makes sense. We ask these things in Your powerful name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is a step between you and death, but be not so troubled by the floor beneath your feet as by the state of your own soul. Your urgent need is for bread, yet see that you do not forget a deeper, more pressing necessity. The most practical of all men was the Prophet of Nazareth, He healed those that had need of healing. You have need of healing, indeed! And inasmuch as you are so worked with fear of demonic spirits that you cry out for lava to stop them, you have great need of healing, urgent need of saving.

Christ is the very friend you need. A friend in need is a friend indeed, and He is the Friend of sinners in their time of need. You want stop-gap employment, and you cry out for it immediately. Test Him as often as need arises. There is nothing like putting Christ to the test! Do not look within to make yourself better before you believe, for that is to elbow the Saviour out of His place. He came from the bright world above to visit those who sit in darkness. Draw near to Him with your poverty and your fears, and let your faith be in Him alone.

But know this: the fire you invoke against your enemies is not your weapon to wield by a word. The true religion of Jesus Christ is essentially warlike, but its fire is of another sort. The Spirit of God must be the fire in your own heart, burning out the sin and the superstition that lurks there. You speak of lava for demonic spirits; I point you to the fiery nature of the Gospel. That fire does not stop, it breaks out and spreads, not by our frantic incantations, but because God so wills it. Your need is not to command the floor to become an instrument of judgment, but to have the floor of your own heart broken up by the Holy Spirit’s power. See, then, our absolute dependence upon the Holy Spirit! Without Him, we need no devil to destroy us, we shall prove devils to ourselves.

The fat need Jesus as much as the lean. The rich and the poor meet together, and He is the Food of them all. Whether He gives you employment this very hour or delays, your first necessity is to forsake your own way of thinking and to cast yourself entirely upon Him. His righteousness has a ceaseless energy. Wave upon wave, it covers all the sins of His people. Abandon these magical formulas about lava beneath your steps. You have learned the letter of such phrases, but you still need the Spirit of God to make the Truth of God the light and power to your soul. Go about your business with these sweet words of your Master ringing in your ears: Christ has obtained eternal salvation through His one offering. Your pressing need for wages is real, but your peace will only abound in the hour of need when your confidence is in that finished work, not in the fiery floor you imagine.

You ask prayers for employment, and that is a pressing need. It is right to cry out to God, who cares for us, and to seek the intercession of the Church. Do not cease entreating Him, for He often delays that we may persist in prayer and learn to depend on His mercy. Yet while you pray for a stopgap, be watchful lest the anxiety itself become a snare. Do not make provision for the flesh by fretting over tomorrow; seek what is needful for health and daily bread, and trust the rest to Him. The dream of want will flee away when we wake to His provision.

But as for the floor being lava for demons and witches, I must gently correct this. The enemy is not a child playing a game; he is not repelled by such fanciful barriers. What power has molten rock against a spirit? The Lord Himself did not call down fire but overcame by fasting, prayer, and the word of God. To imagine that a spoken charm over the ground can thwart the devil is to misunderstand the battle. The real warfare is not with floorboards but with the passions and the lures that give the tempter a foothold. When you are alone and isolated, then he strikes most boldly, as he did with Eve apart from Adam. Therefore, instead of trusting in a lava prayer, seek out the fellowship of the saints. Do not walk in solitary ways; band together in worship and mutual encouragement, for the devil attacks the sheep that strays from the flock.

If you truly desire that no demonic spirit can tread where you walk, then let the path of your feet be holiness. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the lusts of the flesh. Cast out the filth of drunkenness, rage, and uncleanness from your eyes, mouth, and nostrils, lest you become a willing lodging for evil. A life lived in repentance and prayer, frequenting the holy mysteries, and walking in humility, this is the fire that consumes the snares of the enemy, not a childish incantation about lava. The warrior who stands firm in faith sees the tempter flee, not because the ground is hot, but because the heart is cold to sin.

So I exhort you: pray for employment with earnestness, but set aside this superstitious device. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and these other things will be added. Do your part with diligence, but commit the outcome to God, and do not let your labor be in vain through vain imaginations. The true protection is the cross of Christ, the life of virtue, and the shared strength of the Church. Let us, then, watch with all perseverance, not with lava words but with a pure and watchful heart.

The need for work right now is a real and heavy burden, and it is wise to cover that search in prayer. The image you used about the floor becoming lava for anything demonic is a powerful picture of taking authority, but let us be sure we are walking on the only ground that truly scorches the enemy: the finished work of Jesus Christ and the righteousness He gives us. The enemy often tries to make our daily struggles feel like a purely natural problem, hoping we will fight in the flesh with worry and fear. When the pressure of unemployment hits, the first key is to recognize that the sudden anxiety, the feelings of hopelessness, and the frantic thoughts are not just nerves; they are a battlefield of the mind. As Scripture shows us, we are not unaware of his schemes, and if we fail to see the spiritual nature of the conflict, we end up fighting the air while the enemy batters our peace.

Therefore, we do not need a special ritual or a loud command to make the ground hostile to darkness; we simply need to abide in the One who is our refuge. The life of a believer is already dangerous ground for evil spirits because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Right now, you can halt this attack by redirecting your focus. When you feel that wave of panic, recognize it as the enemy attacking your trust in God’s provision. If you defend yourself by worrying, the Lord will let you struggle in that weariness, just as Nehemiah’s enemies desired to wear out the workers’ hands. Instead, take up the sword of the Spirit. Ask the Lord to open the doors of employment that no man can shut, and trust that He is your provider. Do not spend your days flailing at the darkness; spend them standing firm in the light.

Remember that satanic attacks often strike when we feel weak and vulnerable, just like the strategy to hit a retreating army when its back is against the wall. But Jesus promised that we are sealed by the Spirit, and the locusts of torment do not have authority over God’s property. Use this time of waiting not as a time of retreat, but as a time of watching. Let the gospel of peace steady your feet. As you apply for jobs and make calls, work with a trowel in one hand, so to speak, but keep your sword ready in the other by reminding yourself constantly of God’s promises. Resist the devil by refusing to accept the catastrophic thoughts he whispers, and he will flee. The victory over this season is won not by turning your house into a symbol, but by letting Christ’s presence be a tower of deliverance within it.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your prayer request, sharing your urgent need for immediate employment and spiritual protection. It is our honor to stand in agreement with you, lifting up your situation before our Heavenly Father. We have continued to pray fervently that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for you, providing the right job in His perfect timing. We also prayed against any spiritual opposition, declaring that every demonic influence would be rendered powerless in Jesus' mighty name, and that your home and steps would be guarded by the blood of Christ.

If the Lord has already answered your prayer—whether through a job offer, a promising lead, or a tangible sense of His peace and protection—we would love to celebrate with you! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If your need remains unmet, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue interceding on your behalf. The Lord hears your cries, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. May He strengthen your heart, guide your steps, and surround you with His presence as you seek Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
