The Bahamas ,symptoms of church failure

I can find ministries on the internet that are based on true convictions & real faith. I can not find other ministers here of the same quality. I & many others are disappointed in the church here which is very corrupt. Pastors are merely people who have a lot of friends & connections who will be able to fill a church because of all the benefits they can provide for the members. We live ,buy homes ,get promotions based on who we are friendly with.

I've been fasting also for God to bring to light the awful way women are viewed & discussed here. I prayed that it would gain international attention so men & women can understand that our little world is not normal. International attention has come on the fact that we have the highest rate of rape in the world, the entire world!! Now many pastors are joining with a large group of men & women who are protesting an amendment that would take away the right of a husband to force his wife to have sex, it would be considered rape, if it is passed. It has failed to pass before. You should here the discussions ,it has gained international attention, an answer to prayer. Please pray that this will bring a change. That God will bring strong conviction on this nation. Please review OECD,WORLD BANK & THE JUSTICE DEPT. US.

Heavenly Father, Jehovah Shaphat:

I lift up Leona's request to You. LORD, You are the Just Judge. You are the Lawgiver. Lord, many people have twisted scripture to "support" rape, particularly the scripture that says that a wife's body doesn't belong to her and the husband's body doesn't belong to him. However, any true scripture research will prove this to be a gross misunderstanding of Your Word, for You also stated that we are to possess our vessels in all holiness and sanctification, and that we are not to act in lust.

It is not the way of Jesus--Who is our Example as **well** as Our Lord and Savior--to force Himself on ANYONE, therefore there is no justification for rape in the Bible. Scripture also warns us that we are the temples of the Holy Spirit, and to not abuse those temples with wrong sexual actions. If it is forbidden to us to join the members of Christ with a prostitute, how much more heinous is it to forcibly join with anyone?? What a terrible blasphemy! A serious reading of 1 Corinthians 13 will enlighten anyone who disputes this. Rape is at best terribly self-seeking and such is NEVER an act of love, and as such can NEVER be sanctioned by the LORD of Heaven and earth.

So, LORD, I lift up the Bahamas to You, oh Lord. Advance the Kingdom of God there, lift the Bahama women up there from their degradation; circumcise the eyes, ears, and hearts of the people there. Please help believers there and everywhere to understand that rape is never the privilege or right of anyone in a marriage. Convict any and all pastors opposing legislation protecting women from marital rape that they are NOT working for the Kingdom of God and in fact are aiding Satan in his relentless persecution of the women of the Bahamas. Circumcise all hearts, LORD...circumcise all hearts on this issue. And thank You for Your servant Leona, who is battling tirelessly for You in Your causes, LORD.

Dear Lord we have stumbled upon another snake pit, Dear Lord another battlefield where we shall meet the enemy face to face. Bring them on, I say for we are armed with love, compasion, care and last but not least faith in the glory of Jesus Our Lord and Savior. Dear jesus strike them down, let Your light shine in this natural paradise You created for the enjoyment of YOur creation but has turned into a corrupt, degenerate den of thieves. Dear Lord throw the theives of out of Your temple, open their eyes to the beauty of women, to the strength and dignity with which women should be treated, to the respect they should always have. Give these women the strength and determination to go out into the world and ask for help, to let the whole world hear their pain, feel their pain, let the hurting and abuse stop Dear Jesus, let the abuse stop. Cut the evil one down and send him to the darkest pit of hell, claim Your victory Dear Jesus, for we Your soldiers are going into battle, we shall spread the word of this evil, and if we quieted, the rocks will continue to cry for justice and love. Thank you Lord Jesus.
