Heavenly Father of God, the back of my tongue needed to be clean out of my mouth to be free without hot or feeling burnt. Clean everything out.

We understand you are seeking healing and relief from discomfort in the back of your tongue, and we join you in lifting this need before the Lord. It is good that you are turning to the Heavenly Father, for He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for every part of our being. Yet we must always come before Him in the name of Jesus Christ, for Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is through faith in Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray with confidence.

The pain and burning you describe may have physical causes that require medical attention, and we encourage you to seek wise counsel from a doctor if you have not already. At the same time, we know that God is sovereign over all things, including our bodies, and we can trust Him for healing. The psalmist proclaims, *"Bless Yahweh, my soul! Don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:2-3, WEB). Let us hold fast to His promises as we pray.

We also recognize that sometimes physical ailments can be influenced by spiritual or emotional burdens. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, or harmful words that need to be addressed? Scripture tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit"* (Proverbs 18:21, WEB). Let us examine our hearts and speak words that bring life, not destruction. If there is anything in your life that does not honor God—whether in speech, thought, or deed—we urge you to repent and turn to Him for cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).

Now, let us pray together for your healing and wholeness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that all healing and restoration flow from Your hand. We lift up our brother/sister who is experiencing discomfort and burning at the back of their tongue. Lord, You formed their body with precision and care, and You know every cell and nerve. We ask that You would touch them now with Your healing power. Remove any infection, inflammation, or irritation, and restore their tongue to full health. Let them taste and speak without pain, giving You glory for their healing.

If there are any spiritual or emotional roots to this affliction, we pray You would reveal them by Your Holy Spirit. Convict them of any sin that needs to be confessed, any bitterness that needs to be released, or any harmful words that need to be repented of. Cleanse them from the inside out, Lord, and fill their mouth with praise and words that honor You.

We also ask for wisdom—if medical treatment is needed, guide them to the right professionals and give clarity in their decisions. Let this trial draw them closer to You, trusting in Your goodness even in discomfort.

Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers because of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, our brother/sister is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let this situation be a testimony of Your power and love.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on His promises, such as *"I am Yahweh, your healer"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB), and trust that He is working even when we cannot see it. If this condition persists, do not lose heart—keep praying, keep believing, and keep pursuing both spiritual and practical steps toward healing. We are standing with you in faith!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
