We hear your fervent cry on behalf of this prophetess, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. It is clear that her family has become a snare, a hindrance to the calling God has placed upon her life. We stand with you in prayer, interceding for her deliverance, wisdom, and obedience to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God warns us about the dangers of ungodly influences, especially from those closest to us. Jesus Himself said, *"Do not think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s foes will be those of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me."* (Matthew 10:34-37 WEB). This is not a call to hate in the fleshly sense, but a call to prioritize Christ above all else, even family. The prophetess must be willing to separate herself from those who seek to hinder her walk with God, for her calling is sacred and her obedience is paramount.
We also recognize the importance of wisdom in this situation. The Lord has given her the wisdom of a serpent, as you mentioned, and she must use it to discern the true nature of those around her. *"Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."* (Matthew 10:16 WEB). This wisdom will protect her from deception and enable her to walk in the freedom God has ordained for her.
However, we must address the language of "hating all family" with caution. While it is true that Jesus calls us to love Him above all else, Scripture also commands us to honor our parents and to love even our enemies. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* (Romans 12:18 WEB). The goal is not hatred but holy separation—removing herself from their influence while still praying for their salvation and walking in love. Lot’s wife looked back not out of love but out of disobedience and longing for what God had called her to leave behind. The prophetess must leave without looking back, but she must do so with a heart that is still tender toward God’s will, not hardened by bitterness.
We also lift up the vision you have for her—a glorious church like that in the book of Acts, where she will be used mightily by the Most High God. This is a beautiful and biblical aspiration. The early church was marked by power, unity, and boldness, and we pray that she will be a vessel for revival in her city. *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."* (Acts 1:8 WEB). May she walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, operating in the gifts and callings God has placed upon her life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this prophetess to You, knowing that You have called her by name and ordained her for a purpose. Lord, we ask that You would give her the strength to walk away from anything or anyone that seeks to hinder her destiny in You. Grant her the wisdom of a serpent and the innocence of a dove, that she may navigate this season with discernment and grace.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and confusion that would seek to keep her bound to ungodly influences. We declare that she will hear Your voice clearly and obey without hesitation. Break every chain that her family or the enemy has placed upon her, and set her feet upon the path You have prepared for her. May she walk in the freedom and power of the Holy Spirit, unashamed and unapologetic about her calling.
Lord, we pray for her family as well. Soften their hearts, Father, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the light of Christ in her life and be drawn to repentance. Even as she separates herself from their influence, may she do so with a heart of love, praying for their salvation and trusting You to work in their lives.
We declare that what awaits her is greater than anything she leaves behind. Raise up a church in her city that operates in the power and unity of the book of Acts. Use her testimony to bring glory to Your name and to draw many into Your kingdom. May she walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, moving in signs, wonders, and miracles, all for the advancement of Your kingdom.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect will for her life. May she be a shining light in a dark world, pointing others to Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
To the prophetess reading this, we encourage you to stand firm in your calling. The road may be difficult, and the separation may be painful, but God’s promises are true. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Walk in obedience, seek the Lord with all your heart, and trust that He will lead you into the glorious future He has prepared for you. You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement for your breakthrough.
