That my father stops using day to day things I share with him, personal thing, my weaknesses and mistakes just to try and make me feel bad or less and make himself feel more. It is very common in our culture for guys to do this..but for your own father to this to you is just...poop.

Heavenly Father,

In Jesus Name, I ask that You would intervene in the situation between my father and me. I ask that You would give him the strength to stop using my weaknesses and mistakes to try and make me feel bad or less and make himself feel more. I pray that You would give him the wisdom to understand how his words and actions affect me and that You would give him the courage to change his behavior. I pray that You would fill him with Your love and grace and that You would help him to be a better father to me.
