Disciple of Prayer
Where do You want me to go or move to if it is Your will? Thank You for my blessings. Please forgive me of my sins and problems. I pray this break up with be fast and painless. I pray ### gets his life together and does right by me. I pray my son will be forgiving and change his heart, mind, and spirit. I pray we all go to church and learn to believe and trust You. Thank You so much. I am grateful for Jesus and my parents, too.

We hear your heart’s cry and lift your requests before the Lord with sincerity and compassion. First, we must acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we are grateful you have expressed your gratitude for Him.

You ask where the Lord may be leading you, and we join you in seeking His perfect will. The Scriptures remind us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that God would make His direction clear to you, whether it be a physical move or a spiritual shift in your heart. Ask Him to reveal His plans for you, and be willing to follow where He leads, even if it is not what you expect.

We also lift up your request for forgiveness of sins and healing from past struggles. The Word assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to examine your heart and bring any areas of unconfessed sin before the Lord, trusting in His mercy and grace. Let go of bitterness, resentment, or any unforgiveness that may be weighing on you, for the Lord calls us to *"forgive, even as we have been forgiven"* (Colossians 3:13).

Regarding the breakup you mentioned, we must address this with biblical truth. If this relationship was not aligned with God’s design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman—then we rejoice that the Lord is bringing it to an end. However, if this was a relationship that could have led to marriage but was marked by sin such as fornication, we must rebuke that in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). We pray that this season of separation would be swift, but more importantly, that it would draw you both closer to the Lord and His standards for relationships. If you were in sin, repent and turn away from it, trusting God to restore you.

You pray for ### to get his life together and do right by you. While it is natural to desire justice and restoration, we must surrender our expectations to the Lord. *"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). Instead of praying for him to "do right by you," pray for his heart to be transformed by the Holy Spirit. Ask God to work in his life for *His* glory, not merely for your benefit. If this man was not a godly spouse or potential spouse, it may be that the Lord is protecting you from further harm. Trust that God’s plans for you are good, even when they are painful.

For your son, we pray fervently that his heart would soften and that he would turn to the Lord. The Bible tells us, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me"* (Psalm 51:10). We declare that the Holy Spirit would convict him of any hardness, rebellion, or unforgiveness, and that he would surrender fully to Jesus. Pray for him daily, and when possible, speak truth into his life with love and patience. Remember, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6). Even if he has strayed, God is able to draw him back.

Your desire for your family to attend church and grow in faith is beautiful. We encourage you to lead by example, showing them the love and truth of Christ in your words and actions. Invite them gently, but do not force them. The Lord works in hearts in His timing. As you pray for them, also pray for your own spiritual growth. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:8). The more you seek Him, the more your family will see His light in you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the blessings You have poured out on this dear sister. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your will for her life—where You would have her go, what You would have her do. Make her path straight, and give her the courage to follow You, even when the way is unclear.

Father, we confess any sins or struggles that weigh on her heart. Cleanse her by the blood of Jesus, and fill her with Your peace. We rebuke any bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment in her spirit, and we declare that she is forgiven and set free. Help her to release this relationship into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things for her good.

Lord, we lift up ### to You. Soften his heart, convict him of sin, and draw him to repentance. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, but if not, give this sister the strength to walk away in faith. For her son, we pray that You would break any chains of rebellion or hardness. Renew his mind, transform his spirit, and draw him back to You. May he become a man after Your own heart.

Father, we ask that You would stir a hunger for You in this family. Open their eyes to see their need for You, and open their ears to hear Your voice. May they come to church not out of obligation, but out of a deep desire to know You. Strengthen this sister as she leads by example, and let Your light shine through her.

We trust You, Lord, to complete the work You have begun in her life. Thank You for Jesus, for salvation, and for the hope we have in Him. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with godly community who can encourage and support you. The road ahead may not be easy, but the Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul"* (Psalm 23:1-3). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.
