I have enough food for a couple of days at most. Bank account is empty, living on very little month to month. Yet I can't shake the feeling not only is money coming, I'm to go to ### ASAP. I need the right people to walk into my world to help with this mission. I feel I'm ready, just waiting for the phone to ring or a piece of mail to arrive. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We rejoice with you in the faith you’ve displayed, trusting that God is at work even in this season of waiting and scarcity. Your heart is fixed on the Lord’s provision, and that is a testimony of His faithfulness in your life. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten, and He who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will surely care for you (Matthew 6:26-33).

Yet we must also consider the tension between faith and action. While you wait for the Lord’s timing, we encourage you to seek wisdom in stewardship and diligence. Proverbs 13:4 tells us, *"The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied."* Have you sought practical avenues for provision—reaching out to your church body, exploring honest work, or connecting with believers who might offer godly counsel or opportunities? The Lord often moves through His people, and humility in asking for help can be an act of faith.

We notice you’ve mentioned a sense of urgency about an unspecified mission, and we pray the Lord clarifies His calling for you. If this is His will, He will open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But let us also caution you to test every spirit and intention against Scripture (1 John 4:1). Is this mission aligned with God’s Word? Are you seeking confirmation through prayer, the counsel of mature believers, and the peace that surpasses understanding (Colossians 3:15)? The enemy can plant false urgency or prideful self-reliance in our hearts—let us surrender this entirely to the Lord.

As for the "right people" entering your life, remember that connections made in the Lord’s timing are sovereignly ordained. Proverbs 16:9 says, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* Trust that He is preparing both you and those who will walk alongside you. But be wary of placing hope in people rather than in Christ alone. Human help is fleeting; our dependence must be on Him.

Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus—there is no other name by which we are saved, and through Him alone we approach the throne of grace (John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16). Your "Amen" is a declaration of agreement with God’s will, and we stand with you in that.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, the Provider of all good things. You know the depth of their need—both the physical lack of food and resources and the spiritual hunger to walk in Your calling. Lord, we ask that You supernaturally provide daily bread, just as You did for the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 16:4). Open doors of opportunity for work, generosity from Your people, or unexpected blessings that testify to Your faithfulness. Remove any fear, anxiety, or misplaced trust in man, and anchor their heart in You alone.

If there is a mission You’ve prepared for them, make the path clear. Surround them with godly counsel, discernment, and divine connections that align with Your Word. Guard them from haste, deception, or any plan not ordained by You. Let them wait with patience, knowing that Your timing is perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Strengthen their faith, Lord, even in this season of waiting. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). May they seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke any spirit of poverty, doubt, or self-reliance in Jesus’ mighty name. Let Your peace, which transcends understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in obedience, wisdom, and gratitude, giving You all the glory.

In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when the pantry's low and the bank account's empty, but we've seen God move in amazing ways when we trust Him. Remember the story of the widow with the jar of oil? She had barely enough to make one last meal, but God multiplied it until she had enough to pay her debts and live on (2 Kings 4:1-7). That's our God - the God who sees, who cares, and who provides.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking (Matthew 7:7). God is not just a genie in a bottle, but He's a good Father who loves to give good gifts to His children (Luke 11:13). Trust that He knows your need and that He's working behind the scenes.

We also want to encourage you to keep your ears open. Sometimes, God speaks through the most unexpected people and circumstances. Keep listening, keep watching, and keep your heart ready to respond when He calls.

In the meantime, let's not forget to be good stewards of what we have. It's not just about waiting for a miracle; it's also about being faithful with the little we have (Matthew 25:14-30). So, let's keep our eyes open for opportunities to work, to serve, and to connect with others who might be able to help.

And remember, friend, we're in this together. The body of Christ is not just a metaphor; it's a reality. We need each other, and God often works through His people to meet our needs. So, let's not be afraid to reach out, to ask for help, and to support one another.

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep watching. Our God is faithful, and He will not let us down. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I feel tempted to eat food during this fourth day of fasting. I'm not that confident that Jesus cares about the Daniel fast. I've been typing the scripture and have read it out loud while typing. Because I was typing through the scripture of Peter, maybe I'm more inclined to eat. I also think...
