Father, we come before the Throne of Grace through Christ Our Merciful High Priest with confidence to receive mercy and grace for help in time of need, Heb 4:15-16. We bless You with all our souls, forgetting none of Your benefits: pardon of all our iniquities, healing of all our diseases, crowning our lives with loving-kindness and compassion, satisfying our years with good things so that our youth is renewed as the eagles, Ps 103:1-5. We thank You, Jesus, for all the sin and shame You bore for us for all your earthly life, from your humble birth to fulfill all the prophesies to Your humiliating death on a cross, becoming a curse by hanging on a tree, that the blessings of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles by faith, Gal 3:13-14. Jesus, thank You for Your example that humbles us every time we weightily consider all You endured from sinful people, Heb 12:3, being delivered into the hands of sinful men, Luke 24:7, leaving us an example, committing no sin, not retaliating, entrusting Yourself to The Father who judges justly, bearing our sin on a tree, so we might die to sin and live to righteousness, for by Your stripes we are healed, 1 Peter 2:1-25, Isa 53:1-12. Grant healing through our prayers and hands as gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-10, and even remove sickness totally from our midst, Ex 23:25. Thank You Father, for through Jesus' Name we pray and inherit the promises of God, Our Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, and Firstfruits of The New Creation, 1 Cor 15:23, Rev 1:5. We join our hearts with yours in deep gratitude for the mighty work of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Your prayer is a beautiful declaration of His finished work on the cross, His resurrection power, and His unchanging nature. Indeed, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand in agreement with you, lifting up the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Father, we thank You for the confidence we have to approach Your throne of grace through the blood of Jesus, our merciful High Priest (Hebrews 4:15-16). We declare that every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20), and we receive Your mercy and grace in our time of need. We bless You, Lord, for Your forgiveness, healing, and the loving-kindness that crowns our lives (Psalm 103:1-5). You have satisfied us with good things, and our youth is renewed like the eagle’s because of Your faithfulness.

Lord Jesus, we are humbled as we reflect on Your example of suffering without sin, entrusting Yourself to the Father, and bearing our sins on the cross (1 Peter 2:21-25). You endured the cross, despising its shame, for the joy set before You (Hebrews 12:2). We thank You for becoming a curse for us so that the blessings of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles by faith (Galatians 3:13-14). Your sacrifice has reconciled us to the Father, and we are now ambassadors of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).

We pray for the manifestation of Your healing power in our lives and the lives of those we intercede for. You have given us gifts of healing and miracles through Your Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-10), and we boldly ask that sickness be removed from our midst, just as You promised in Exodus 23:25. Let Your healing virtue flow through our prayers and hands, bringing restoration and wholeness to bodies, minds, and spirits.

Father, we also lift up those who may be struggling with sin, whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, sexual immorality, or any other stronghold. We rebuke the enemy’s lies and declare that in Christ, we are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). If anyone is in Christ, the old has passed away; behold, the new has come! We pray for repentance, renewal, and a deep hunger for righteousness in every heart.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly marriages and families that reflect Your design, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). For those who are single, we pray that You would prepare them for a spouse who loves You wholeheartedly, and that their season of waiting would be filled with purpose and intimacy with You. Guard hearts against the temptation of fornication or adultery, and let purity and holiness be the mark of Your people (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

We declare that Jesus is the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth (Revelation 1:5). He is the Originator of God’s creation (Revelation 3:14) and the Firstfruits of the new creation (1 Corinthians 15:23). We thank You, Father, that because of Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We’re genuinely warmed by the thankful heart behind your prayer. When we deliberately recount all Jesus has done, the humility, the suffering, the healing, the victory, it does something deep inside us. It anchors our hope not in how we feel today but in a story that has already been written and won.

That kind of gratitude doesn't stay locked up in a quiet moment. It has a way of reshaping our ordinary hours. When we bend our minds to remember that He became a curse for us so blessing could flow, we start to see the people around us differently. Maybe today, as a simple next step, you could let that thankfulness spill over into one concrete act: speak a word of encouragement to someone who’s been weighted down, send a note to a believer who’s struggling, or just pause in the middle of your routine and whisper thanks again, letting the truth you’ve prayed move your hands and feet. You don’t have to force it; the gratitude that’s already in you is its own overflow.

We’re grateful we get to stand with you in that posture, remembering, thanking, trusting.

Jesus, thank You for bearing our sin and shame, for healing and for every promise You’ve secured. Anchor our friend more deeply in the wonder of what You’ve done, and let that wonder leak into every part of this day. Give them eyes to see where a simple word of thanks or kindness could strengthen someone else. We ask this in Your name, Amen.

My dear friend, I have read your fervent outpouring of thanksgiving and supplication, and my heart is stirred within me. You have laid hold of precious promises, reminding our Father of the finished work of His Son, our great High Priest who ever lives to intercede. It is altogether fitting that you come to the throne of grace with such confidence, for we have a merciful and faithful Advocate with the Father. You have quoted the Scriptures with the unction of a heart that knows its Healer, and I would encourage you to persist in this holy exercise.

Yet, as I consider your plea for healing, let me press upon you a truth that runs through all my ministry. The power of Christ in the gospel is chiefly a power to heal, but we must ever remember that the root of all sickness and sorrow is that foul disease of sin. I perceive in your words a soul that looks to the stripes of Jesus for the healing of the body, and this is good and right, but let us not rush past the deeper malady. Before the blessed physician healed the palsied man, He first proclaimed, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." There is a pardon that must precede the cure, a spiritual restoration which is the earnest of all other restorations. You have mentioned the forgiveness of iniquities from the sweet psalmist of Israel; do not let this be a mere phrase, but search your heart to know whether you have truly closed with Christ unto remission. The worst sicknesses are those we do not feel, for the heart can be wounded with the arrow of sin and yet remain insensible as steel.

I find also that you speak much of the earthly example and sufferings of our Lord. This is a well which never runs dry. When we consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, it humbles our pride and silences our murmurings. If you are laid aside on a bed of languishing, see in it the fellowship of His sufferings. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses not as a mere spectator, but by a mysterious transfer of our load onto His own shoulders. Lean hard upon Him now. If the sickness remains, do not think it is for lack of power in Him, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Sometimes He permits the trial to tarry that He may sift us as wheat, separating the chaff of our self reliance from the pure grain of faith. Satan might mean it for evil, but God overrules it for a deeper cleansing. The child of God under affliction, behaving himself grandly, becomes a standing monument to the sufficiency of grace.

Now, concerning your desire for healing through the gifts of the Spirit as in the early church, I bid you to pray without ceasing and to lay hold of every promise, for our God does not change. But know this also: that the truest sign of approaching mercy is the prayer itself. If your heart is crying to God even now, He will hear you. He has said, "They shall be as though I had not cast them aside." Whether He heals the body instantly or gives patience to endure, you shall be brought forth as gold tried in the fire. The final restoration of all things waits for the appearing of our Lord, when we shall dwell in that city where the inhabitants shall not say, "I am sick," for they shall be forgiven their iniquity. The Tree of Life grows there on either side of the pure river, bearing twelve manner of fruits, and its leaves are for the healing of the nations. Until that day, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the Firstfruits of the new creation. He has gone as our forerunner into that blessed place where sickness and pain and death are swallowed up in victory.

Continue, then, to bless the Lord with all your soul, forgetting none of His benefits. Offer unto Him the sacrifice of praise even while the thorn remains in the flesh, for His grace is sufficient for you. He who bore your sins in His own body on the tree will not withhold any needed mercy from you. May the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by His power you may abound in hope.

You heap up many words from Scripture, and this is good, for the Scriptures are our medicine. Yet observe: when the Lord said of Lazarus, “This sickness is not unto death,” the sisters saw him die and were not offended. They did not charge the Lord with falsehood, but even in the face of contrary events they still came to Him. So you, when you pray for healing and the sickness lingers, do not let the delay shake your trust. The promise stands sure, though the fulfillment may tarry; God’s timing is not ours, and often He permits things to reach extremity that His power may be displayed more gloriously.

You thank the Father for all Christ has done and ask for healing through prayer and the laying on of hands. This is right, for the Lord often made a point of healing on entreaty, not rushing into miracles, but teaching us that faith must be present in those who ask. He did not say, “Believe that I can entreat the Father,” but “Believe that I am able to do this.” So bring your request with that bold faith. The woman with the daughter tormented did not merely approach; she came crying out and alleging nothing but “mercy,” and her faith contributed not a little to the healing. So let your cry be from the depth of your soul, night and day praying exceedingly, as the apostle did for the churches, for this is a sign of fervent love and confident expectation.

But take heed: in all your asking, see that your heart holds no prayer against any enemy, no root of bitterness. For if we add to our other negligences the unlawful prayer against another, we shut the door of mercy on ourselves. Rather, entrust yourself to the Father who judges justly, as your own citation from Peter reminds you.

Continue, then, in this path. Even if you have prayed often and seen no change, do not grow weary. A tree may receive ten strokes and not fall, then a single blow brings it down; yet the last blow is not the whole work, but the ten before made it effectual. So your repeated prayers are not lost; they are weakening the disorder. God, who sees the root, is working a cure. Only hold fast this confidence: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” He who bore your sins and by whose stripes you were healed is not slow to fulfill His word. Your part is to keep coming to the throne of grace with boldness, for you have a merciful High Priest who is touched by your infirmities. Let your soul bless Him, forgetting none of His benefits, and wait with a faith that does not waver. In His time, He will minister the healing, and you will see that the sickness was indeed not unto death, but for the glory of God.
