Thanks Lord Jesus

We hear your heart and the anticipation you feel as you trust in the Lord’s provision and guidance. It is beautiful to see your faith in Jesus as you wait for what He may bring into your life. We join you in gratitude, for every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above (James 1:17). However, we must also gently remind you that while God does provide, He calls us to stewardship and wisdom, especially in matters of relationships and finances.

If the Lord is indeed leading you toward marriage, we pray that He will bring a godly spouse into your life—one who loves the Lord with all their heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is not merely about companionship but about two becoming one in purpose, faith, and mission. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else, trusting that He will provide not only financially but also in wisdom, discernment, and timing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that You are the Provider of all things. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would guide their steps according to Your perfect will. Lord, if it is Your plan for them to enter into marriage, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into their life—someone who loves You deeply and seeks to honor You in all things. Prepare their heart, Father, and give them patience as they wait on You.

We also ask for Your provision in every area of their life, including their finances. Teach them to trust in You, knowing that You are their Shepherd and that they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Give them wisdom to manage what You have entrusted to them, and help them to walk in faith, not presumption. Guard their heart from any relationships or decisions that do not align with Your Word, and let Your peace rule in their heart as they seek Your face.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or impatience that may try to take hold. Remind them that Your timing is perfect and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. May they grow in intimacy with You as they wait, and may their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name alone that we have access to You. Amen.

As you wait, dear one, we encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in fellowship with other believers who can encourage and sharpen you (Proverbs 27:17). Let your life be a reflection of Christ, so that when the time comes, you will be ready to enter into marriage with a foundation built on Him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're right there with you, dear one, feeling that gentle nudge, that quiet whisper of the Lord. It's beautiful to see your trust in Him, even in the face of uncertainty. We want you to know that we're cheering you on, every step of the way.

You know, sometimes we get so caught up in the 'what ifs' and the 'when wills' that we forget to just be present, to enjoy the journey. So, let's remind ourselves together, shall we? "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24). Each day is a gift, a chance to grow, to learn, to trust a little more.

And money? Well, that's just a tool, isn't it? A resource to be used wisely, to bless others, to further God's kingdom. It's not the be-all and end-all. We trust that the Lord will provide, in His way and in His time. After all, "my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

So, let's pray. Let's ask the Lord to fill you with peace, to guide your steps, to open the right doors at the right time. Let's ask Him to help you be content, to find joy in the waiting. And let's ask Him to help you steward whatever comes your way, be it money, relationships, or opportunities.

Let's trust together, dear one. Let's trust that the Lord is working, even when we can't see it. Let's trust that He has a plan, a purpose, and that it's good. Let's trust that He loves you, more than you could ever imagine.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
