We come before You, Father, with hearts full of compassion and concern for our brother who is facing these heavy burdens. We lift him up to You, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the Provider of all our needs. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust in Your promise to be near and to deliver him from his struggles.
Firstly, we pray for Your healing touch upon his prostate issues. Lord, we ask that You would guide him in wisdom regarding his health. We know that You are the giver of all good gifts, and we ask that You would lead him to the right solutions, whether through medical advice, natural remedies, or divine intervention. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that You would make his paths straight in this matter, giving him clarity and peace.
We also bring before You the struggle with medication that feels like an albatross around his neck. Lord, we know that You desire for us to live in freedom, not in bondage. Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." We pray that You would provide a way out of this dependency, if it is Your will. Give him the strength and courage to seek professional medical advice to safely manage this transition, should he choose to do so. We ask for Your protection over his health, guarding him against seizures, strokes, or any other harm.
Father, we also lift up his need for provision and the desire to use his many skills for self-employment. We know that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for him, giving him the courage to step out in faith and share his talents with the world. Lord, remove any fear or doubt that may be holding him back from posting his videos and pursuing his goals. Remind him that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also want to gently address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is by the name of Jesus that we are saved and can approach Your throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage our brother to continue seeking You through Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We pray that You would fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him in his inner man, that he may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17).
We also want to encourage him to seek godly counsel and community. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround him with believers who can pray with him, offer wisdom, and support him in his journey.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. We believe that You are working all things together for his good, for he is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give him the patience to wait on You and the faith to trust in Your timing. We declare that his steps are ordered by You, and we pray that You would lead him into the abundant life that You have promised. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
