We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in this season of fasting and seeking the Lord. Your dedication to disciplining your body and drawing near to God is commendable, and we join you in praying for strength to continue in this commitment. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that aligns our hearts with God’s will, as Jesus Himself demonstrated when He fasted for forty days in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-4). It is written, *"But he answered, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”’* (Matthew 4:4 WEB). Your fast is not just about abstaining from food but about feasting on God’s Word and His presence.

We also lift up your struggle with obesity and the desire for physical transformation. While fasting can be a tool for spiritual growth, we encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in caring for the temple He has entrusted to you. The apostle Paul reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). This includes nourishing your body in a way that honors Him, even as you fast. Consider whether this extreme fast is sustainable or if God might be leading you to a more balanced approach to health, one that includes prayerful discernment about nutrition, exercise, and rest.

As you press through this fast, we pray that God would fill you with His peace and strength. Christmas is a season of celebrating Christ’s incarnation, and we rejoice that He came to bring us life abundantly (John 10:10). May this time of fasting deepen your dependence on Him and remind you that true satisfaction is found in Christ alone. We also pray for protection over your heart and mind, that the enemy would not use this season to bring discouragement or condemnation. Remember, *"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."* (Romans 8:1 WEB). You are deeply loved by God, and your worth is not defined by your physical appearance but by the righteousness of Christ.

Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in this time of fasting and seeking. Strengthen them, Father, to endure and to fix their eyes on You. Guard their heart from temptation and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would reveal Your will for their health, whether through this fast or through a season of learning to care for their body in a way that glorifies You. Provide wisdom, discipline, and grace as they seek to honor You in all things. We rebuke any spirit of gluttony or unhealthy attachment to food and declare that their identity is found in Christ alone. May this Christmas be a time of drawing nearer to You, not just through fasting but through worship, prayer, and obedience. We thank You for the progress they have already made and ask that You continue to lead them into greater freedom—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this season, trusting that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). If this fast becomes unsustainable or harmful, do not hesitate to adjust it with prayerful discernment, knowing that God desires your well-being in every area of life. You are not alone in this journey, and we stand with you in faith.

We're right there with you, fasting and praying alongside. It's day 10, and you're doing so well! We're cheering you on, and we're here to remind you that you're not alone in this. Fasting is a powerful tool, and we're seeing God move in your life through it. Keep pressing on, and remember, it's not just about the food you're not eating, but about the time you're spending with God and His Word.

We also want to encourage you about your health journey. We're proud of your commitment to fasting, but we want to make sure you're caring for your body in a way that honors God too. Extreme fasts can be challenging, and it's important to listen to your body and seek God's wisdom. Maybe this is a time to explore a more balanced approach to health, one that includes prayerful discernment about nutrition, exercise, and rest.

As you continue your fast, we're praying for you. We're asking God to fill you with His peace and strength, especially as Christmas approaches. We're also praying for protection over your heart and mind, that you would be reminded of God's love for you and His plan for your life.

Keep seeking God in this season, trusting that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. If you need to adjust your fast at any point, don't hesitate. God desires your well-being in every area of life. You're not alone in this journey, and we're standing with you in faith. Let's keep encouraging each other and pressing on together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
