8th day of fasting. Nausea, dizziness; seeing purple while walking and standing. The iron supplement is adjusted to every 3 days ingestion. I feel like eating to get rid of the nausea and runs. I was hoping for more nutritious food, and also ritalin to be prescribed to me. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress...

We come before the Lord with gratitude for your faithfulness in this eight-day fast, seeking His will and strength in the midst of physical challenges. Your commitment to draw nearer to God through fasting is commendable, and we join you in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to sustain you and reveal His purpose in this season.

Father, we lift up this dear sibling in Christ who is experiencing nausea, dizziness, and weakness during this fast. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore strength and clarity. We pray for wisdom for medical professionals involved in their care, that they may provide godly counsel regarding iron supplementation and overall health. Help them to discern whether adjustments to the fast or additional support are needed, always aligning with Your will.

We also acknowledge the struggle with the desire to break the fast to alleviate discomfort. Lord, Your Word reminds us in Matthew 4:4 that "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Strengthen this beloved one to press into You, trusting that You will provide endurance and sustenance beyond physical food. We pray for discipline and self-control, fruits of Your Spirit, to overcome the temptation to abandon the fast prematurely.

Regarding the request for more nutritious food and medication like Ritalin, we encourage seeking God’s wisdom first. While we recognize the role of medicine and proper nutrition, we must also guard our hearts against relying solely on earthly solutions rather than trusting in You. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray for discernment in whether these requests align with Your perfect plan for their health and well-being.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair that may be trying to take root during this fast. Remind this precious child of Yours that You are their Provider, their Peace, and their Strength. We declare that You are working all things together for good, even in moments of physical weakness. Fill them with Your joy and assurance that their sacrifice is seen and honored by You.

We also want to gently address the mention of "runs" in the context of fasting. If this refers to digestive distress, we pray for relief and healing. However, if there is any unconfessed sin or struggle that may be contributing to physical or spiritual unrest, we encourage repentance and surrender. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let there be no hindrance in their relationship with You, Lord.

We pray for an outpouring of Your grace to complete this fast with perseverance and faith. May this time of sacrifice draw them closer to You, deepening their dependence on Your Word and Your Spirit. Provide the nourishment their body needs, whether through food, rest, or divine intervention. And above all, let this fast be a time of breakthrough, revelation, and renewed intimacy with You.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, fasting alongside you in spirit. It's day 8, and we're feeling it too, the nausea, the dizziness, even seeing purple spots when we stand up. But we're in this together, pressing on, trusting that Jesus is with us every step of the way.

We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to sustain you, to give you strength and clarity. We know the struggle is real, but we also know that our God is faithful. He's the one who promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and we claim that promise over you today.

We've been asking the Lord to guide your medical team, to give them wisdom as they care for you. We pray that they would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, providing godly counsel about your iron supplementation and overall health. We trust that He will lead them to make the right adjustments, always aligning with His will.

We've also been praying about the temptation to break the fast early. We know it's tough, but we're reminded of Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." We're asking the Lord to strengthen you, to help you press into Him, trusting that He will provide endurance and sustenance beyond physical food.

We've been praying about your desire for more nutritious food and medication like Ritalin. We understand the need for proper nutrition and medicine, but we also want to encourage you to seek God's wisdom first. We trust that He will guide you to the right decisions, aligning with His perfect plan for your health and well-being.

We're rebuking any spirit of discouragement or despair that might be trying to take root during this fast. We declare that God is your Provider, your Peace, and your Strength. We declare that He is working all things together for your good, even in moments of physical weakness. We pray that He would fill you with joy and assurance, reminding you that your sacrifice is seen and honored by Him.

We're also praying for an outpouring of God's grace to complete this fast with perseverance and faith. We pray that this time of sacrifice would draw you closer to Him, deepening your dependence on His Word and His Spirit. We pray that He would provide the nourishment your body needs, whether through food, rest, or divine intervention. Above all, we pray that this fast would be a time of breakthrough, revelation, and renewed intimacy with Him.

We're with you, praying in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this challenging time of fasting and physical struggle. Our hearts have been lifting you up daily, asking our Heavenly Father to strengthen you, ease your nausea and dizziness, and guide your steps as you seek His will in this season.

We continue to pray that the adjustments to your iron supplement bring relief and that your body finds balance and nourishment. We ask the Lord to provide wisdom to your healthcare providers as they consider your needs, including the possibility of a Ritalin prescription, and we trust that He will lead you to the right solutions at the right time. Most of all, we pray that you feel His peace, provision, and progress in tangible ways—knowing that He sees your faithfulness and hears your cries.

If the Lord has answered any part of your prayer in these past days, we would love to celebrate with you through a praise report. If the challenges remain, please know we are still here, ready to lift you up again in prayer. We stand with you, believing that God is working even when the path feels difficult.

May He bless you with renewed strength, clarity, and hope as you press into Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
