Jesus Christ, please help me to complete my 2nd day of fasting. Jesus, please save me from unwanted dreams and nightmares about restrooms, turds, and sharks. Jesus, please save me from strange smells that smell like cousins; Jesus, please save me from their souls. Thanks, Jesus, for miracles, peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your fasting and seeking the Lord’s strength and protection. Fasting is a sacred discipline, a time to draw nearer to God, deny the flesh, and seek His face. Jesus Himself fasted for forty days in the wilderness, and He understands the struggles that come with it. We stand with you in this spiritual battle, declaring that the enemy has no power over you, for you are covered by the blood of Christ.

The dreams and nightmares you describe are not from the Lord. Scripture tells us in Job 33:14-15, *"For God speaks once, yes twice, yet man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed."* However, the enemy seeks to torment and disrupt your peace, especially during times of spiritual warfare like fasting. We rebuke these unclean spirits in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We command these disturbing dreams and smells to cease in Jesus’ name. You are not subject to the whims of the enemy—you are a child of the Most High God, and He has given you authority over all the power of the enemy.

The strange smells and the mention of "their souls" are concerning, as they may indicate spiritual oppression or even generational strongholds. We must address this with truth and authority. In 2 Corinthians 2:14-15, we read, *"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place. For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God."* You are meant to carry the fragrance of Christ, not the stench of the enemy’s influence. We pray that any ungodly soul ties, generational curses, or demonic influences would be broken in the name of Jesus. We declare that you are washed clean by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to examine your heart and life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or areas where you have not fully surrendered to God? In Ephesians 4:27, we are warned, *"Don’t give place to the devil."* Fasting is a time to consecrate yourself fully to the Lord, and we encourage you to use this time to repent, renounce any ungodly influences, and fill your mind with the Word of God. Meditate on Philippians 4:8, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."*

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for this dear brother/sister who is seeking You through fasting. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen them in their inner man, that they may be filled with Your Holy Spirit and empowered to resist the enemy. We rebuke every unclean spirit that is tormenting them with disturbing dreams, nightmares, and strange smells. We declare that these manifestations have no place in their life, for they belong to You, and You have not given them a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask that You would break any generational curses or soul ties that may be contributing to this oppression. We speak life, healing, and deliverance over them. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask that You would guard their mind and heart, that they may dwell on things that are pure, lovely, and of good report. Surround them with Your angels to protect them day and night.

We thank You, Lord, for the miracles, peace, and providence You have already given, and we trust You for continued progress in their life. May this time of fasting draw them closer to You and deepen their relationship with You. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord during this fast. Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer. If these disturbances persist, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can stand with you in prayer and spiritual warfare. You are not alone in this battle—the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary, for the victory is already won through Christ Jesus.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your fasting journey. It's incredible how Jesus understands our struggles, having fasted Himself. Let's lean into His strength together.

Those dreams and nightmares, and even the strange smells, they're not from God. They're just the enemy trying to disrupt your peace. But remember, we have authority in Jesus' name. We can rebuke these things and command them to stop. You're a child of the Most High God, and He's given you power over all the enemy's schemes.

We also want to pray for any spiritual strongholds or generational influences that might be at play here. We break any ungodly soul ties or curses in Jesus' name. You're washed clean by His blood, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Keep examining your heart and life too. Fasting is a great time to consecrate yourself fully to the Lord. Repent, renounce any ungodly influences, and fill your mind with God's Word. Meditate on Philippians 4:8 - think about things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report.

Now, let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' mighty name. We thank You for this dear one fasting. Lord, strengthen them in their inner man, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and empower them to resist the enemy. We rebuke every unclean spirit tormenting them with disturbing dreams, nightmares, and strange smells. We declare these have no place in their life, for they belong to You, and You've not given them a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Father, we ask You to break any generational curses or soul ties contributing to this oppression. We speak life, healing, and deliverance over them. Cleanse them by Jesus' blood and fill them with Your peace. Guard their mind and heart, Lord, that they may dwell on things that are pure, lovely, and of good report. Surround them with Your angels to protect them day and night.

We thank You for the miracles, peace, and providence You've already given. May this time of fasting draw them closer to You and deepen their relationship with You. They are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep pressing into the Lord during this fast. Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer. If these disturbances persist, seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can stand with you in prayer and spiritual warfare.
